The crown jewels of Trump National Doral Miami are its golf courses, 90 holes of PGA-worthy turf that include The Blue Monster, Greg Norman’s Great White and Raymond Floyd’s gold course. Trump acquired the Doral property in 2012 and has since given it a $250 million facelift. Rooms were renovated in a warm neutral palette with mahogany and gold leaf Spanish Revival details, and luxe cabanas flank the new Royal Palm Pool. There are 800 acres and almost as many rooms at Trump National Doral, making the resort a city in itself.

Some places chase the moment. Trump National Doral honors something more enduring. From the first step into the lobby, I was struck by a level of craftsmanship that has become genuinely rare — and by an attention to detail that never once faltered. The bones of this resort date to 1962, but the 2016 restoration didn’t strip away its character in pursuit of the merely modern. It deepened it. The sweeping marble staircase, crowned with hand-wrought iron scrollwork and a gleaming brass rail, sets the tone the instant you arrive. The heavy brass fixtures are polished to a warm, flawless shine. The marble floors and walls carry a quiet luster that speaks to real care, not just upkeep. And the furniture — sumptuous burled and mahogany wood, gilded console tables, richly framed paintings — is the kind of old-world quality you simply don’t encounter anymore in an era determined to be sleek above all else. What moved me most was the consistency. Every nook and cranny was immaculate. Every surface considered. Nothing felt incidental. From the crystal chandeliers and the bronze eagle in the entry to the smallest floral arrangement on a side table, the whole property reflects a singular vision carried through with discipline and grace. I’ll admit the photographs I’d seen online didn’t begin to do it justice. In person, the proportions, the light, and the richness of the materials come together into something photographs can’t capture. In a world racing toward the ultra-modern, it is a rare gift to find a place that still believes beauty can be timeless. Doral is exactly that — and I left genuinely impressed.

Trump National Doral Resort is fantastic. Facilities are clean, renovated and top notch. Exceptional service. Great golf courses. Don’t forget to visit Spa. The best massages and facial treatments! We enjoyed the entire experience!!!

This was our second stay here, the other being in the middle of covid. We were there with a group of roughly 100+ and cannot find any fault except maybe too much salt in some of the food. The maid service was excellent and flexible, all of our requests for wake up, drivers, etc., went without a hitch. I would highly recommend!

I thought the property looked nice, but half of the seat cushions outside were missing. I was astonished by the prices at the minibar / snacks. There is a hidden fee of like 35% charged on top of a tip just to open the tiny Pringles can, which should cost $1.00. We ended up paying about $16.00 for about 1/5th of a normal can. We caught on to the scheme, we opened a $1.00 can of soda which they were charging about $10.00 for, plus tip etc. We just went to the local store and restocked ourselves to avoid the crazy charges. Also, they charged to use the room phone, unheard of. The golf course was baked through, and the bunkers were never raked. Enjoy you're 6 hour round. I wouldn't recommend this place for the price.

I stayed here for business. The staff was great. The location was perfect for me. However my room was not well cared for. The furniture was worn and cheap. Normally i wouldn't care but i conducted some of my business in the living room area of my suite and it was embarrassing. The bed was lumpy and well past due for a turn or replacement. All things considered, it was not a good value except for golfing with clients.
