Trump National Doral Miami in Miami, Florida

The crown jewels of Trump National Doral Miami are its golf courses, 90 holes of PGA-worthy turf that include The Blue Monster, Greg Norman’s Great White and Raymond Floyd’s gold course. Trump acquired the Doral property in 2012 and has since given it a $250 million facelift. Rooms were renovated in a warm neutral palette with mahogany and gold leaf Spanish Revival details, and luxe cabanas flank the new Royal Palm Pool. There are 800 acres and almost as many rooms at Trump National Doral, making the resort a city in itself.

Pick up a croissant and coffee at the French-style pastry shop. Take a morning stroll through acres of manicured grounds and bask in the Florida sun. Indulge in a hydrating cocoon spa treatment, which starts with olive grain exfoliation and ends with a shea butter wrap. Share a porterhouse for two and a fine bottle of Napa cabernet.

Loved this hotel! Serene and calm with efficient staff. Electricity and acceptance of pets during this difficult time. We are truly grateful we could check in this hotel with our dog as the temperature in our house was 90 degree after we lost power due to Irma.

Return customer. Hotel became home for many affected by Hurricane Irma in Miami. Booked room for one night after hurricane passed, in order to catch up on rest - as yet did not have power at home. Bed was comfortable. Room impeccable clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful at ALL times!! Their Team is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and well trained!! I was granted late checkout up on arrival process with Emmanuel at the FD.:) Would definitely keep staying in Trump Doral in any other occasion and recommend the property to anyone reading this review.

It's a beautiful property, no doubt about that! The front desk staff -- efficient and helpful, but not enough of them based on the long line of folks waiting to check in last night. After I was checked in I was told that my property was 4 buildings behind the main building and I could walk (and pull my luggage) or wait for a trolley. I waited for the trolley while thinking: Why should this take so long? Not enough trolleys? It was actually a quick and enjoyable walk and I walked it back to the main building for dinner. Champions is downstairs and it's somewhat of a sports bar with high-end dining. I ordered French onion soup (I'd give it a B- -- it was NOT baked as the waitress promised), a beer, grouper (A+) and for dessert coffee (C+) and ice cream (A+). And all of that cost a whopping $79 with a modest tip! By the time I checked out after one night's lodging and that meal I paid more than $300! I love POTUS Trump, but I don't love this resort. Value simply doesn't equal the price.

I stayed at the Trump Doral during a visit to The Pritikin Longevity Center and spa. My hotel room was probably the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in that overlooked the golf course. Outstanding service! Every evening the staff would deliver bottled water and chocolates. It was an amazing and comfortable stay. Do yourself a favor and visit this beautiful property.

I safely stayed here during Hurricane Irma and major props to the entire hotel for hosting so many tired guests. With limited staffing as most of Miami evacuated, they executed everything flawlessly. While no one could leave their villas due to the severity of the storm, the team still provided food and water in each lobby for all guests even during the height of the hurricane. They really took care of each and every guest wit their five star service. A special thank you to Sheldon H, George H and Antonio C in Security for keeping everyone safe. Also, a thank you to Allison D in F&B and Charlotte R in rooms. The team rocked!
