Trump National Doral Miami in Miami, Florida
The crown jewels of Trump National Doral Miami are its golf courses, 90 holes of PGA-worthy turf that include The Blue Monster, Greg Norman’s Great White and Raymond Floyd’s gold course. Trump acquired the Doral property in 2012 and has since given it a $250 million facelift. Rooms were renovated in a warm neutral palette with mahogany and gold leaf Spanish Revival details, and luxe cabanas flank the new Royal Palm Pool. There are 800 acres and almost as many rooms at Trump National Doral, making the resort a city in itself.
Pick up a croissant and coffee at the French-style pastry shop. Take a morning stroll through acres of manicured grounds and bask in the Florida sun. Indulge in a hydrating cocoon spa treatment, which starts with olive grain exfoliation and ends with a shea butter wrap. Share a porterhouse for two and a fine bottle of Napa cabernet.

Reviews for Trump National Doral Miami
good hotel in very large complex - rather annoying practice of charging 18% for service even if they tip a glass of prosecco over you and you have to pay the dry cleaning bill; or they bring you completely the wrong drinks and you have to wait to get the correct ones - and still get charged 185 for service! excellent golf courses - 4 in total - but dreadfully slow play for 2 out of our 3 rounds

This will be difficult to write in a limited space because the service was so exceptional. Each team member at the resort made such a lasting impression that it would be too long a review if I mentioned everyone. My wife said and I quote, "This is the most beautiful golf course and resort I have ever seen!" We arrived Friday evening at around 9:30 pm after an extremely stressful jam packed week. As we arrived at the main entrance, Franklin greeted us with a warm and inviting smile. We checked in and gave instructions regarding our luggage and headed down to Champions Bar and Grille to unwind. That's when I realized I left my wifes golf shoes behind my seat. I went out and Franklin was more than happy to handle my mistake. I joined my wife only to realize I had left my reading glasses in the car. I returned again to Franklin to ask if he could get them and drop them at the front desk please. He asked, "Where are you going to be sir?" I said, " Champions." He said, "I'll bring them to you." Wow! Now that is service. While we were in Champions, half the service staff came by to introduce themselves and personally engage us in conversation about our plans for the weekend. While there we were connected with our friend John Avellino. Although we are no VIP's, thanks to John and everyone there, we were treated like royalty. We were beginning to see why John had raved about the resort and encouraged us to come visit all these years. Everything was like that the entire weekend and there was no average response ever. Not even the retail shops act like they are not part of Team Trump. The next morning we went to breakfast and my niece and her boyfriend joined us at BLT's. The food was exceptional from the Belgian Waffle, or the standard American, to the Lox and Bagel. I was excited to hear the opinion of the resort from my nieces boyfriend, since he is an assistant golf pro at PGA National. He was in awe! Next we went to our golf outing on the Red Tiger course and it was breathtakingly beautiful, challenging and fun. They have two service people that travel around with refreshments named Kelly and Susie, and they were gifted with perfect timing. Just as we were ready for anything, we would look up and there they would be coming around the bend with more refreshments. They added a new dimension to our day and our fun... Are you noticing a pattern yet lol?!!! So after freshening up at our room we head over to BLT's for dinner and they seat us in a booth looking out onto the beautiful resort. The food was delicious from the Braised Short Rib to the Ahi Tuna and the presentation was fabulous. The attention to detail and service were impeccable, warm and friendly. Our server Vladimir and his team were tops! The next day as I was walking out the Spa lobby by our room, the young woman asked how our golf had been. I am sorry I did not see her name badge but was so touched that she would know our activities and take the time to inquire. Well, that is what you really get here at Trump National Doral Miami. It is all about excellence and taking personal service to a whole new level. I not only recommend going to this resort for anyone that would love a beautiful getaway, but it is first on our list of favorites to return to. Try it, you will not be disappointed I assure you!
This hotel is beyond beautiful, clean and very well kept. Golfing was exceptional and they worked hard to make sure play moved along at a good pace. There was a foul odor near the far end of the practice range (maybe dumpsters behind the trees?) but they had plenty of practice balls and the chipping range was great. Our room was in the Ben Hogan building and had a beautiful view; the rooms and balcony were large and comfortable. Our only issue was with housekeeping-very little was replaced each day (we were there Thursday-Sunday). We were missing wine glasses, coffee cups, COFFEE, toiletries and robes pretty consistently. Our friends received small water bottles in their room but we never got any-don't really understand that one. When we called on the wine glasses (twice), they sent up a small bottle of wine and a hand written note for our inconvenience-which was nice. We ate at BLT-the food was excellent, as was the service. All the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful and they came around with complimentary water throughout the afternoon. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, it was a very relaxing get away.

From the moment we checked in we were treated like royalty. One pool was a family pool and the other was a relaxation pool for adults only, very quiet. The kids pool even had a diaper dispenser for mmothers who may have forgotten to bring them down to the pool. The grounds were impeccable with vistas along the first and tenth tee. The spa was opulent and relaxing. Loved watching international airlines fly above us as they were on their approach to Miami airport. They also had free shuttle to Miami Beach and shopping. We are looking forward to staying at another Trump hotel.

I recently completed the second of two stays at this property, a student, so to speak, at Pritikin. The Pritikin program is incredibly full of information and encouragement to change one's life. I am now doing so at home, still with staff support. I firmly believe the program will add at least 10 years to my life span. The property is beautifully landscaped and the room I stayed in was large and very well kept up. Wait staff in the dining area were extremely attentive and the food was ranged from wonderful to good. The many medical personnel on staff were approachable and filled with information. The exercise physiologists were also expert and helpful. I have suggested to a number of my friends, relatives, and patients that they consider the program. Eric Blumberg, Ph.D.
