The Principe Di Savoia has spoiled me for all future hotel stays... it is that simple. From the elegantly appointed rooms to superior housekeeping to omg, everything! Care for some examples? Ok... - The "shuttle" service is a Mercedes stretch Maybeck to the major shopping districts - Turn down included putting slippers on linen towels & spraying my pillows with lavender - A book of Italian fairytales was provided for bedtime reading - My mini statue of the Pope was put on a linen napkin - The multi-colored marble bathroom reminded me of Hearst Castle - My clothes were hung upon room check-in - Opulent bed linens I wish I had at home - Coziest robe (that I wish I also had at home) - Adorable doormen in even more adorable uniforms So did I love this hotel? Beyond a yes and I would return when in Milan again!

The hotel is superbly stylish, elegant and well appointed throughout, and not at all fussy or old-fashioned, contrary to what you might expect from a classic old monument in Milan. The rooms and public areas are finished superbly with every high-tech facility and the staff are friendly, hugely helpful and charming throughout. The bar is possibly the most stunning room in the whole city.

We have been many times to this hotel and celebrated there the Millenium and now 2018 New Years. The experience is always good although the hotel changed hands a few times. It retains its glamour and old style hospitality. The rooms and public areas are beautiful and the SPA and Gym exceptional. It is always good to come home to a good experience.

My parents and my husband and I spent Christmas 2017 at this luxury hotel. The bedrooms and bathrooms are stunning. The breakfasts are great. Staff are friendly and speak english. Only downside is that there is nowhere to really relax in the hotel. The bar lacks atmosphere as there is nobody in it and the lobby area also serves as the lounge, which is bizarre. A beautiful hotel for seeing Milan.

This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely pampered and looked after. Although we arrived early, we were able to check in and have a room allocated immediately, which was very appreciated as we had had a very early flight. Every single staff member we encountered was nothing short of fantastic. A special mention to the petite lady with brunette hair worn tied up in Il Salotto. She is fantastic at her job and extremely friendly. We went for a Deluxe room, which was an excellent size and spotless. The bathroom in particular was amazing and the shower quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The complimentary Acqua di Parma toiletries are a lovely touch. We had room service the first night, which was delicious, as was breakfast to the room. We also ate breakfast in the main restaurant and it was great-a brilliant selection as well as a menu of hot items which can be made to order. Nothing was too much trouble at breakfast. I certainly thought it was worth paying more to have breakfast included. We also had cocktails in the main hotel bar and they were delicious and the complimentary snacks provided were almost a meal in themselves! We ate twice in the lobby area, Il Salotto, and enjoyed the food immensely. The pool is very nice, as is the sauna and steam room. The lady in Club 10 was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend walking around the roof top to admire the views, which can be accessed from the pool. If I had to make a small criticism, it would be that the mini bar prices are too inflated and that the price of a vodka and tonic in the Lounge was more expensive than a cocktail in the bar, which isn’t normally the way it is. However, the hotel is exceptional and therefore certain price inflation is to be expected. A truly memorable experience.
