We stayed for a weekend at this five star delux property. The room/ hotel were of a bygone era, but had been updated. The breakfast , not included in the price was 90 euros for two, but was decent as was the service. Ironically the best service at breakfast was an Asian woman who was much better than the Italians. The outside patio was nice, with a water feature , surrounded by hedges, yet the smoking and the street noise made the experience less than stellar.

Stayed one night at the Savoia. Hotel is walking distance to everything; Duomo, Train Station, Comoros Como ( great area), Eataly etc. Beautiful , traditional hotel with lots of greenery. Rooms are lovely with older, traditional Italian decor. Outdoor bar is very nice but you will need to wear pants.... dresss code in place for dinner. Room views are mixed as our room was great but our view was of the interior courtyard. Would suggest you ask for an outdoor view room. Great choice and would return!

This is an extraordinary hotel. It is old world, modern amenities without losing charm, so used to doing everything perfectly that it looks effortless. What really sets this hotel apart is its staff. They are great at what each of them does... warm, genuine people who treat everyone as if they were the one staying in the 5k/night President's suite. Comfortable and special. Location perfect.

My previous visit to Milan many years ago I had stayed very close to the Duomo so was disappointed not to get a reservation there this time but that proved to be a blessing in disguise . The rooms are very comfortable , the ambience has character , the bathrooms - always very important very good and the service responsive. The location too is very good even if not right next to the Duomo and the Galeria . Would dstay here again
