Reviews for Hotel VIU Milan
Lovely stay - the room was well finished and staff very friendly and spoke good English. The roof top pool was the icing on the cake and made us so glad we picked this hotel for our stay in Milan. My advise would be to get to the pool before 9:30-10 to ensure you grab a sun bed as the are very limited! It's about 20min walk from most of he big museums. My only feedback would be the hotel restaurant, which, compared to the fantastic restaurants in the area, didn't live up to expectations.

Staying at the luxury hotel VIU Milano for four days is one of my best decisions this year. Nice atmosphere are and high quality service combined with spacious and well designed modern room make this hotel one of the better choice. Probably because of summer holidays there inexperienced staff at the restaurant "Bulk" was not doing there best in service but the food was excellent, my gift to the service, follow up with drinks. Over all best choice, fair price. One of the best thing was the location, not directly down town but easy access to transportation, just around the corner was the tram almost waiting to take you to city center in 10 min. My next stay in Milano will be at hotel VIU Milano.

Very modern and almost brand new hotel. The rooms are a decent size with modern decor and amenities. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located next to a tram station which provides a 20-25 min ride into the city center (Duomo). The hotel is at the edge of Milan's Chinatown with a number of authentic Asian restaurants a short walk away. The lounge/pool at the rooftop is a nice touch and a good place to relax in the evening.

First night in this hotel I was woken up by a barking dog, barking from 11-12pm and again at 7:30am. I informed the reception desk. The second night it was quiet and the next day I had a call from a lady called Ennis, she up graded us to a suite for our last night and was very nice and helpful. I really felt that she wanted us to enjoy our stay and we did. I was also very impressed with the service at the pool bar, again a very nice lady served us and I enjoyed chatting to her.

Stunning Hotel and wonderful staff. Absolutely loved our stay last weekend. However, there were two things that bothered us a bit. First thing was, that the booking was not so convenient. I tried booking online for 198 Euros per night when I saw an offer for 10% off. As soon as I clicked on this offer, all the prices INCREASED! I contacted the hotel who said that they have dynamic prices (to me this isn't dynamic, it's a scam). They offered me 198 Euros per night but as soon as I accepted they told me it was the last room (lie) and the price now was close to 300. If it wasn't for the fact that it was my friends birthday and she wanted to go to this hotel, I wouldn't have put up with that. This way I just booked though another website, which was even cheaper. Another, although small thing was, that we only got very touristy recommodations at the reception when asking for a restaurant. We stressed that we wanted genuine, simple Italian food, nothing touristy. All we got were the biggest tourist-traps. As someone who knows other parts of Italy quite well, this was a bit disappointing. However, and I really want to emphasize this: As soon as the booking was over and we got there, we have had the most beautiful stay.
