Reviews for Hotel VIU Milan
Stumbled upon this by chance, it’s rare that a completely new hotel opens in Milan. Rooms are nice, the view is 360degrees from the rooftop, sadly was only there for 1 night could not try the restaurant which promises to be good. Staff welcoming and friendly. Worth a try!

This is my new place to stay and to be in Milan: the staff is so kind and prepared, rooms are more then beautiful and it is close almost to everything. They have a super beautiful swimming pool on the roof and your breakfast is served there. In the evening is home to some beautiful events with cool people and you are just above your room. Thanks HOTEL VIU For me it’s a big YESSSS
I truly loved my stay at Hotel Viu. It has the spirit of the design collection down pat. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff made sure every part of my trip was perfect. But, what truly made the trip for me was the front desk manager. Whos name, I cant recall. But he was a total gem! When you check in he is Italian and in his late 20s. He's a star! He made my trip, he made me feel welcome and assured I knew how to go where I needed to go. Marco the concierge actually gave me his whats up since I didn't have an Italian phone number. However, my trip took a turn for the worst nightmare. I caught the flu while on my trip and woke up sick alone and 7k miles from home. But the hotel let me check out when I was ready. cough cough, 4:30pm. No questions asked. No extra fee, noticing I was sick as a dog. My comfort food when sick is apple juice. I am not really sure it was on the menu, but they did over the course of those 12 hours make freshly squeezed apple juice about 6 times. I was too sick to catch the train to Switzerland at that point. So key in Marco, who found me a town car, that brought me a pillow and blanket. So, I could sleep and drove me to Zurich. And of course, that perfect front desk manager basically carried me into the car. Now if that's not five star service.. I don't know what is. They made me feel safe and secure. Now lets speak about the rooms. The rooms are the most modern and functional I have seen in years. The layout is great. Closet space, the bed is amazing. At home, I have a 8k mattress, so I am a bed snob. The bed is good. So your good there. The room has a perfect bathroom. Its large and the tub is great. The on-site bars and food are great. Its a steal for the price per night. Just show up.
Fantastic staff and service, they all spoke good english and were happy to share local knowledge of great restaurants, shopping, etc. Very comfortable modern rooms, dreamy beds and luxurious bathroom. The views on the rooftop dinning area are stunning. Well equiped gym and spa, we loved our stay.
My family and I arrived to end our Italian vacation in December 2017. We were expecting a similar experience to the other 5 star hotels we stayed at in Italy; however, this was not the case. We had 3 rooms and all faced a construction site. The spa only provided a sauna and steam room; no services such as massage, facial, etc. The fitness center has a couple of treadmills/bikes. Finally, the concierge (Marco) was unable to locate a restaurant reservation for us beyond one he had previously rejected from his list of recommendations. While we were understanding since the reservation was last minute and on a holiday, we did expect a “5 star” hotel to find something that wasn’t previously rejected. The concierge couldn’t even get us a reservation to the hotel’s own restaurant! As a reference, a week before at another 5 star Italian hotel, our concierge was able to reserve 2 different Michelin star rated restaurants for us on Christmas. We will not be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anyone.
