Reviews for Hotel VIU Milan
We recently stayed in the Hotel VIU for one night (but wish it had lasted longer). I might have to add that our views might have been slightly skewered by the generous room upgrade we received, but I think that even our original room category would have been great. Now to the details: Pros: - Amazing room (we were upgraded to a junior suite with a very large terrace) - all extremely modern, well appointed, great shower facilities and amenities and excellent bed and black-out curtains (very important!). - All members of staff were extremely friendly (no idea why some guests mentioned that they were not - really everyone we met was very friendly). - Amazing roof terrace with a great view over Milan. - I also really liked the location - even though the quarter might still be "up and coming", it's only a short walk into downtown Milan (Brera is particularly close-by) and the area around the hotel (Chinatown) is fine and not dodgy at all. There are also some cool new bars (e.g. OTTO) nearby. Cons: - None really. The only thing we had been hoping for was a nice buffet aperitivo on the roof, but that wasn't offered - instead, waiters brought some nice snacks in boxes - very nice, but not the full Aperitivo experience. Great stay on balance - we'll be back.

We had a great stay 2 day stay in Milan. Staff were super helpful and friendly, facilities were fantastic, location was right next to a tram line and we managed to get a decent price for the hotel given it was during August. Would highly recommend.

New hotel – just beautiful designed – so comfortable and well run. It was a pleasure staying there. The bathrooms are beautiful – actually, the entire room is beautiful – love the design and comfort. It’s a little outside of the main area of Milan – but it was fine and we found great restaurants in the area which were easy to walk too. The only problem is a huge construction site next to the hotel with cranes and trucks, etc – luckily, we didn’t hear a thing though. Staff was professional and nice – would stay here again in a second.

We have just arrived home after a very enjoyable 3-night stay here. All the staff were so nice and helpful no matter what we asked for. The hotel is very new and beautifully kept, it oozes quality. The rooms are spacious and delicate. All amenities you'll need and the fluffy'est bathrobes ever. The breakfast is served in the roof top bar/restaurant. It is lovely to sit in this light room and enjoy the very good food and the view of Milan. We also got the opportunity to enjoy a drink outside by the pool in the sunset - beautiful. The hotel is very close to Chinatown. And a short walk to Parco Sempione. It is a tram stop just around the corner that will take you down town to the Duomo and Brera area in 7 minutes. The nearest metro is just a 5 minute walk. And the Garibaldi train station (Malpensa express train) is only 10 minutes by car, metro or tram. I think the hotel has a very good location. I will highly recommend this hotel and i hope I will be back again very soon!

A really wonderful hotel with everything you wanna wish. The location, maybe, is not ideal and a little far from the centre, but the rooms, the service, the food is really great. Very nice restaurant and terrace on the roof. P.s.amazing fluffiest bathrobes:)
