POOR! Zero tolerance towards children. If the kids bother you that much then maybe consider making this an adults only hotel! As we waited for our transfers to arrive. The kids were calm and being playful. Camilla thought it was a good idea to end what was our pleasant trip with a negative experience when she told us to tell the children to be quiet and that 'we had been here a long time' Rude, disrespectful and patronising to say the least. As a family we mind our own business and just try to create beautiful memories for our children. We pride ourselves on discipline, politeness and boundaries and when unkindness and unprofessional behaviours are uncalled for, it will definitely be highlighted both personally via front desk and be met with an honest review so that others with young families are made aware that this hotel is not child-friendly. if we were a fussy family and moaned all the time then we could have made a big deal about the fact that the TV did not work in 1 room and that one of our main doors remained open at all times because the rubber was damaged- we asked for it to be sorted- they came looked and claimed it was fixed but a slight push and the door opened again- we couldn't keep anything valuable in that room because it simply didn't shut or lock. We actually slept in that room with young children which was unsafe but we didnt want to annoy the front desk constantly. However we left it and carried on about our holiday. But to come and say you guys are loud and have been here a while, trying to shoo us off was just not needed! Pros: Visually aesthetic Metro is a 2 minute walk, a mcDs 3 minutes away ... and that's literally it Cons: u need a taxi or metro to get from almost all places such as lotto to central or duomo No local shop close by for snacks Mosquito problem in rooms. Even if got bit loads in the bed, and I never get bitten on holidays A bunch of sour-faced adults that clearly have no children or understand what its like to have children and should definitely not be in the tourism and hospitality sector. All smiles when you enter as obviously your a paying guest- but soon as that check out happens their true colours show. The 1 star represents how we felt as a family before we left! No guest should be made to feel like that. Finally, apart from the hotel staff, we had a lovely time exploring Milan and much of the community we came across where very kind and welcoming and where really playful with our young children. If you want to see the beautiful city of Milan, I would recommend staying in Central Milan or in and around the areas of Duomo unless you dont mind the Metro travel. And if you have very young children please stay in a kid-friendly hotel so that your experience is not ruined by some inconsiderate folk.

I stay at this hotel often for work, and overall it has always been a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is welcoming. I would especially like to recognize Costantino, the bartender. A few colleagues and I stopped by the bar for a drink after dinner in the city, and he truly made the evening memorable. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were impeccable. Beyond that, he was warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about his craft. We all left feeling happy to have met him. Costantino is a wonderful asset to the hotel, and I look forward to seeing him again on a future stay.

Happy with the spacious room (very important feature!); convenience of The Level "club lounge" food and drink; open wardrobe (more functional than the usual closed wardrobe); and clothes steamer (Italian hotels it seems don't do irons and ironing boards) and bedroom slippers being provided. Lovely interior design. Only reason the Meliá Milano is not perfect for my purposes is that the room lighting is not sufficiently bright/even for comfortably working on the laptop.

Lovely hotel, close to the Metro, which is all you need to get around. Great staff, very friendly and efficient. Rooms are well appointed although the view was of a courtyard and I'm sure they would have had better rooms as the place wasn't full. The only downsides were that, the lighting and controls in the room were a nightmare - some lights only came on with others and some wouldn't even turn off. Also, my wife was ill and couldn't leave the room for the whole 2 nights and three days. No room cleaning so I ordered more coffee and sugar - which never arrived so I had to ask a supervisor - we got the coffee but no sugar. Finally, checkout was 12:00 but as my wife was ill I requested a late checkout. I was advised free until 2pm but as our flight wasn't until 8pm, she offered till 4pm, which I was charged €80 for - I thought that was a bit mean as she knew my wife was ill.

Lovely hotel and room. Good air conditioning however the view wasn’t the best. Check in staff were brilliant however felt the lady who greeted us for breakfast to be a little rude at times. Rooms where cleaned daily but I did leave an expensive pair of sunglasses on the side that vanished and know I will never get them back. Tried to ask cleaners if they have moved them but limited English so couldn’t get to the bottom of where they went. Breakfast was a good variety. Located 5 minutes from metro didn’t feel the safest late at night but that’s everywhere you go.
