It's extremely close to Duomo with less than 5 mins walk. There are lots of shops and restaurants around. The room is spacious in Europe and the bathroom is nice and roomy. The shower is perfect and hair dryer is nicely worked. Everything is nice and we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast is fine but not exceptionally nice and we have to pay for the egg or omelette which some hotels actually include. The concierge is okay but not as helpful as I expected.

I book on the 12 April for 17th April on line. Text arrived confirming booking for 12th not 17th. Called Expedia and after 45 minutes hanging on phone they confirmed booking of 17th. Failed to confirm arrangements in writing so I was billed for No Show. When I arrived 17th took nearly one hour to get a room. Hotel refused to accept Expedia email to me confirming change. Had to pay premium rate for room - got charged for breakfast that I did not have nor wanted. Total disaster.

My company booked me at the Rosa Grand and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall accommodations. The central location is amazing (right behind the Duomo) and the rooms were decent sized and modern. The continental breakfast was nice. Only complaint is the strange decor in the hallways to the rooms. It felt a little like a funhouse and I wish the gym had more equipment like free weights. It was pretty bare bones.

My family and I spent a week at the Rosa Grand. We booked two rooms and each was upgraded upon check-in. The rooms were lovely, recently renovated with wood floors and spacious bathrooms and closet areas. Our Executive Double was quite large and had a desk, table and armchair, with large windows that overlooked the street. The Deluxe room had a gorgeous view of the Piazza Fontana below. Both rooms were well-lit and comfortable. We were greeted with cookies in our room upon arrival and a tin of cookies was left on our last night to thank us for our stay. Service at the hotel was lovely. The front desk was very responsive and accommodating. The concierge was very helpful in advising us about restaurants and transportation. The doormen were very helpful in calling taxis. The hotel was truly full-service and efficient. Breakfast was fine, the breakfast room was not the prettiest space, but it served its purpose and the buffet was ample. The location of the hotel is exceptional, a short walk to the Duomo, but away from the crowds on a quiet piazza. Easy to get anywhere in the city and very close to shopping. I would definitely stay at the Rosa Grand again, though it is a large hotel, the service is excellent and welcoming and the price point reasonable for Milan (especially during design week). Many thanks to the management for upgrading us and for a lovely stay!

The hotel is located just behind the dome of Milan and you can walk to most all interessting venues. No need for taxis, and the metro and tram is just a few steps from the hotel. It is also in the middle of the shopping district. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful altough the bar service outdoor is slow with some lack of logistic. Nice breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean with coffee machine but no iron or trouser press. We would stay here again next time in Milan.
