My wife & I stopped over in Milan for our Anniversary Eve in Milan. It was one of our best ever (and we’ve celebrated it previously in Moscow, on African Safari, Ayer’s Rock, Hawaii, Bordeaux, and Croatia). We did the Duomo, Galleria, and an opera at La Scala. But our stay at Rosa Grand Milan is what made it fabulous. First, an excellent location: close to the center, but facing a quiet park. The staff were over-the-top friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our suite was incredibly comfortable and stylish. And we enjoyed their various eating/drinking venues within the hotel. Needless to say, we highly recommend Milan and the Rosa Grand Milan. Our only regret was not staying longer

Great location right near the Duomo. Rooms are well-sized and nicely done. A very convenient and comfortable option for a stay in Milan.

Location, Location, Location! Right beside the Duomo and walking distance to pretty much everything in the area. Great staff: there was a political rally one afternoon and the staff kept us fully informed, very helpful. Nice room, lots of facilities. We were at the back of the hotel, third floor. Meant a bit of corridor walking, but it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was below 5* standard, particularly hot food choices. Would've been nice to have an egg station, and more fried food rather than steamed. Good hotel - would recommend.

The hotel is centrally located, walking distance everywhere. I stayed there during a business trip and all the planning was very smooth. The room allocated to me was very nice, I could see the Duomo. The amenities were nice and the small touches everyday as well. The breakfast was good.

Buyer Beware – Refund Issue and Poor Management Response We booked this hotel for the Olympics and opening ceremonies and needed two separate room blocks. The first booking was for two nights ($3,178.49), and the website clearly stated it was fully refundable up to two days before arrival. When I went back to book the second block, those rooms suddenly showed as unavailable, even though a full-stay search showed plenty of availability. That inconsistency raised concerns, so I canceled the first booking within about 15 minutes. The hotel then denied the refund, claiming the reservation was non-refundable. That is not accurate. I have a screen recording showing the refundable terms at the time of booking. We contacted both the front desk and Hotels.com immediately. At that time, we were told a full refund (by the front desk Rosa Grande) and that it would have to be processed by the manager when she came in the next morning. Instead, the manager later denied the refund and stated they would not honor the reservation at all due not availability. However, rooms were still listed online, at significantly higher prices. Chase dispute team and Hotels.com escalated the issue to their supervisory team, but hotel management refused to cooperate or resolve the situation. This experience showed poor communication, inconsistent pricing, and a refusal to honor stated booking terms. I would not book here again. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE - BUYER BEWARE. When the escalation team tries to reach the hotel manager Anne Z she will refuses to provide a supervisor at Starhotels and will not provide any further detail.
