We stayed here in May 2017, perfect location to get around Milan. Rooms are large, clean and large double beds. Noise from outside is minimal considering it is right next to the Duome. Bar area is large, with lots of comfy sofa's dotted around. They pour wonderful large measures, much larger than you would get in Blightly. Staff are very polite and want to make sure your stay is great. Wifi is superb across the whole complex. Had an issue where I was asked to sign a form to use an Ironing Board and was only allowed ~45 minutes to use it. I've stayed in hotels around the world and have never experienced such a process for an Ironing Board?? Complained to the hotel and they offered to Iron my clothes at their cost which I didn't do out of principle (I just wanted an Ironing Board) The hotel (Francesca) went more than the extra mile to address this matter which they did so well. Explained how the Ironing Board rules for hotels are dictated by the local govt / council and vary for hotels, apartments, hostels. Thank you Rosa Grand and thank you Francesca for a perfect stay, would definately stay again. PS: We used the white taxi's to get to and from the airport, cost is EURO20, about 70% less than the private "fixed price" black taxi's that are around or recommneded by hotels and restaurants in Milan

Really close to the Duomo! Rooms are simple, clean, and the breakfast is very good. If you want a place for a short stay while in Milan, I think this place is perfect. However, we stayed elsewhere when we wanted to venture out for day trips and for those days in Milan, we stayed closer to the Central Station.

I stayed twice at this hotel in a two week period. The first time in a Deluxe Room. Unfortunately at 4am I was awakened by water pouring through the smoke detector in the ceiling onto me and my bed. It was raining outside and my room was on the top floor. This required a room change in the middle of the night. Needless to say my night's sleep was ruined. So on my second stay I was ungraded to an Executive room. If you have to pay don't waste your money on an Executive room. There is nothing special about it. It is larger but the bathroom was smaller than in my Deluxe room. The toilet was jammed up against the sink. For ladies this is a problem. The bathrooms also have the dreadful half glass shower door favored by European hotels, resulting in cold air coming in and water flooding the floor. Beaware especially if you are older that the hallways in this hotel are maze-like and confusing leading to aimless wandering in order to find your room. Ask for a room near the elevator. The pros for this hotel are first of all it perfect location half a block from the Duomo and Galleria. Rooms are soundproof with double thick windows. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel restaurant for dinner is also excellent. But the memory that will stay with me is being awakened in the middle of the night with water pouring down on me - a hotel first!

We met good friends in Milan for a long weekend on our way to a cruise and chose to stay at this hotel because of its location in the Centro Storico. Great decision...steps from the Duomo, surrounded by wonderful places to eat and relax and the shops...! Oh my goodness! I am not a great shopper but even I could see we were in fashion heaven! Rooms were comfortable and relatively spacious and there was a super bar downstairs!

The hotel is located at the heart of Milan which is very convenient to reach and easy to organize many things you desire. The check in process is efficient and satisfactory. The free WiFi increases the satisfaction. The restaurant meet all needs. The size of the room is enough and clean. The amenities are enough. I suggest for all purposes.
