The very best
We stayed at the Pfister for my birthday. It was fantastic. It's such a beautiful place. We stayed in the old section and the room was very quiet and peaceful. The high tea was a lot of fun. I can't wait to stay again. The customer service was the best I have ever experienced!

A short business trip brought me to the area. The hotel location was perfect and a few minutes' walk to the shopping/eating area. My hotel room was bright and airy- overlooking Lake Michigan. What a magical sunrise! I cannot wait to come this summer to further explore the area!

Best in-city hotel
Beautiful pre-turn of the century hotel with wonderful 19th century paintings. Undergoing some refurbishment but little impact. Rooms really top rate. Staff were all courteous, aware and accommodating (tho I was a little nonplussed that they would only give is a 1/2 hr late checkout). Short walk to public market.

Old time charm, with modern ammenities
The hotel was fantastic! It harkened to an older era, while keeping with modern day ammenities. I particularly recommend the spa--my treatment was wonderful! The staff was kind and helpful.
