On the corner of 9th and Hennepin in the heart of Minneapolis’s historic theater district, The Chambers Hotel takes center stage. Built in 1908, The Chambers has had a front-row seat to the legendary Orpheum Theatre’s groundbreaking performances, from the Marx Brothers’ vaudeville act to Prince’s hometown debut. Here at The Chambers, we, too, have a famous flair for the dramatic. Our 60 art-infused guestrooms and suites have walk-in rain showers, deep soaking tubs and sweeping views of vibrant downtown.

Couldn’t adjust the heat to a normal temperature and the staff didn’t seem to care. Room was over 80 degrees! Opening two windows didn’t help much unfortunately.

Modern hotel, clean, nicely updated/decorated, friendly hotel staff. Appreciate some of the little amenities, like a space heater, sound/white noise machine, fitness center, microwave in the main lobby. Ambience was lovely, great location in the theater district, close to many restaurants and entertainment options. If I were to suggest something to improve, it would be noise reduction to the hallway. Perhaps soft close hinges, or door sweeps that might close the bottom gap? Lots of door slamming at all hours. The sound machine helps, but feel like there are measures that could improve this issue. Overall, definitely recommend for value, location and ambience!

Stayed her and recommended for colleagues for a work-trip. The rooms are comfortable and spacious but there might be just one person working at a time. Housekeeping is on request and no one was told this on check-in. If you missed housekeeping there was not an option just to grab extra towels or soap etc. Air-conditioning was not reliable and the halls of the building ere very hot rooms were okay depending where you were in the building. There is no food an beverage outlet - no rooftop as advertised. False advertisement for sure.

Sleep quality effected due to thinking I was turning on the A/C... switched it to "cool" and still was running the heater ALL NIGHT. woke up to 80+ degrees in my room... turned it completely off... cracked windows and salvaged another hour of sleep maybe. Told the staff about it, was not asked room number/name anything... "it's an older hotel... if it's unbearable, we can move you rooms..."

The hotel is conveniently located to walk to Target Center and Target Field. Parking is next door but not connected to the hotel for an inexpensive price. The showers are amazing and the bed is comfy!
