I was there again today for lunch, it has been about 9 months since I was there. It is still Something Out of The Ordinary, our choices for lunch were delightful. Our main course was delicious, caesar salad and dessert and oh coffee was was excellent. The setting is just so peaceful. The area is lovely at this time of year (Fall).

I've stayed at the Glenerin a number of times in recent years. Many of these stays have been on short notice. The front desk staff have been so accommodating and helpful during my stays. If you're looking for a "new, purpose built hotel" the Glenerin might not be for you. If you're looking for a comfy bed, decent wifi, great breakfast, clean and well appointed room and accommodating staff, in a "heritage, boutique hotel" then you won't be disappointed. What management has done with this historic building is amazing. I also find the spacious front lobby a relaxing place to do work and meet with colleagues.

My husband and I cannot express how happy we were with this venue. Long story short, we spontaneously got engaged the first week of September and were looking to get married by the end of the month. After calling around to several different venues that fit our budget, Glenerin Inn became our number one choice. Living in Mississauga for about 20 years I've never really noticed the Inn, I always thought it was a retirement home but upon arrival I was in awe. I've always wanted a destination wedding, our something outside and though I knew that couldn't happen in our time frame, the staff at Glenerin made my dream come true. We got married October 1, 2017, on the beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the revine and tree's and we had our reception in the high arched, chapel like Oakroom, what a day to remember. Maurizio and his team were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. Maurizio, made sure all my demands were met and everyone from the receptionist, kitchen staff and servers were extremely welcoming of us as well as our guests. The rooms are a whole other story; we loved the rustic/historic feel of the building. The room we stayed in was on the second floor facing the beautiful tree's. The room itself was gorgeous, it was a mix of old and new with a beautiful high ceiling stone shower. The beds were so comfy! We would definitely recommend this venue!

My family and I were fortunate enough to select the Glenerin Inn for our accommodation when attending a Family Triple Celebration at the seniors condo next door. The Management and Staff at Glenerin went out of their way to coordinate our rooms and meals so that we could all be together for an unscheduled cousin reunion. The quality of their facility lends itself to be whatever you need it to be - a spa get-away for 2 or a fun filled cousin reunion of 12. Our thanks for helping our memories be the best they could be.

On arrival we were impressed with the look of the property the and the helpfulness of the reception staff. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. We were put in a room that was so small with low protruding ceilings were the dormer windows were that it was impossible to move around the room stood upright !!! The room had no safe, no coffee facilities and no refrigerator. Basic amenities in the 21st Century surly? unless maybe staying in the cheapest of cheap which this certainly was not. We had been touring Canada for six weeks at this point stayed in many hotels all had the basic facilities mentioned and rooms that you could comfortably stand up in. But more importantly most were considerably less expensive. The only reason that we did not check straight out again was that we were there for a wedding and did not want to upset the bride and groom who had chosen the venue. I did write to the general manager expressing our disappointment, his response was to offer us a FREE breakfast should we ever be back in the area. He flatly refused any form of refund on the room. He actually said that this was a recently refurbished room and he could see no reason why we should be disappointing. We now wish with that wonderful thing, hindsight that we had stayed somewhere else as some of the other guests did. Wonderful locations with super views, huge rooms / suites all facilities and for less money. So in short, Glenerin Inn not worth the money and very un compromising when in the wrong. DONT STAY THERE. As for the wedding. Well we were not footing the bill so perhaps not best placed to criticise. Sufficed to say, think very very carfully before booking a wedding at this location. NOT impressed !!!!!
