An older stone inn on a very well manicured and lovely landscaped property in Mississauga.Very impressive to look at but our room was a little dated with most of the furniture being comprised of antiques which was fine but many were in need of repair. Having said this the room was clean and the bed quite comfortable. The staff were very pleasant although unable to help us out in a couple of instances which along with a few other annoyances would most likely cause us not to return here. The Glenerin is not the place for a couple to stay on the weekends when it becomes basically a venue for weddings and other social functions whose guests take over all of the common areas of the hotel without consideration for others staying there for a little rest, relaxation or romance . During the wedding reception taking place while we were there, it was difficult to walk through either the lounge or the entrance way to the Inn due to the wedding guests which had chosen these areas to gather in large numbers and in the case of the entrance way, to drink and smoke. The wedding guests should have been assigned a patio at the back of the Inn to do their smoking and drinking. We were very disappointed to learn upon checking in that the Glenerin was unable to take a reservation for Sunday Brunch, again perhaps due to those who attended the wedding the day before having long ago booked all of the available seats in the dining rooms. On our drive home my wife remarked that with all the food which was available at the buffet table you would have thought the staff might have suggested that we partake of the brunch with our enjoying the food in our room. Any recommendation for breakfast would have been welcome as would a simple cup of coffee before we made our way for breakfast in Port Credit. I don't think this would have been too much to expect having spent close to 1000.00 on food and our room over a two night stay. I would suggest that a guest at the wedding reception may have received more attentive service then my wife or I. Note there was not a coffee maker in our room or a coffee/tea station in the main area of the Inn. To sum up --- a pretty place to have a social function but it's definitely not for those traveling on their own or as a couple for an enjoyable weekend --- best choose another hotel in the area. PS As previously noted in the review by Miss Dvo, TV reception is a problem here --- we lost signal connection on three occasions. I would also concur with her comment that the Inn is quiet noisy --- it wasn't built like today's hotels where the rooms have better sound barriers to address the late night activities of other guests especially post wedding reception party revelers.

The grounds are beautiful, quaint, cute, etc and our room was clean. We thought this would be a relaxing, wonderful experience. We were wrong. There was a wedding that lasted past 1am in the morning. The music was excruciatingly loud and there was no peace. I've never endured such noise that lasted that long at any hotel, whether it be 2-star or 5-star rated. Also, the TV would work intermittently so we'd have to reset it every half hour or so. We had to get up at 6am to catch our flight. For having to endure that much noise, they should have a "noisy" rate built into the weekend prices because that was just unacceptable. When we told the people at check-out, not one simple apology was uttered from anyone. It was a sad experience. Not sure how the weeknights are but definitely not recommended for weekend nights. I left very sad and super tired.

The atmosphere is nice.. Its small and cozy. Was there for a wedding and stayed over. The bed and bedding was very comfy, and nice quality sheets which I love. A great little place. Decent prices too. Had to unplug an alarm clock with a bright light/screen in order to sleep better, but no big deal.

Spoke with the Spa attendant to make an appointment to try out their services before gifting my visiting family treatments the next day. Got most of the details, fixed for an appointment that afternoon with times available for the next day as well. Then without warning was abruptly hung up on!!! If that's not enough I got a call from the same attendant 15 minutes later that all my appointments couldn't be honored as the therapists ..... get this: " called in sick" (I assume for the next day too) I'm sorry to report this kind of service in my own city. Beware...i suppose of asking this business to many questions. But I value the comfort of our international guests.

Not a place to go for a quiet relaxing night. There was a wedding party going on that was extremely loud and made it difficult to relax and sleep. My wife and I were given the worst possible room right in the middle of a child minding room, and party lounge. Walls are paper thin, bring ear plugs. Front staff was useless, and General Manager didn't even bother to reply to my email explaining our concerns.
