Lovely view, lovely rooms (just a teeny bit noisy)

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst in Monaco - the rooms were clean and modern, and the view of the harbour was incredible. Staff that we encountered were attentive and friendly. The only issues were the noise, as you could hear the music from the restaurant upstairs, and also the breakfast, which was €29 per person. We had a look at what was on offer, and it was incredibly limited with little to no vegan options outside of tinned fruit, so we opted to have breakfast elsewhere. Aside from that, it was a great place to stay, excellent location right by the harbour, and within walking distance of many of the sights.

Fabulous hotel with amazing views

Fabulous hotel with amazing views of the harbour! Excellent and friendly staff, superb welcome on arrival. Rooms exceptional, very comfortable and well equipped, spotlessly clean! Very large and comfortable bed with well equipped bathroom. We were on our honeymoon and received a lovely welcome gift of chocolates and wine upon arrival to our room - fab touch! Fabulous bathroom with a deep, whirlpool bath, separate shower and separate toilet! Location was perfect for exploring Monaco and views were amazing and the fact it sits on the Grand Prix track was iconic for avid F1 fans! Only slight issue we had was sound on TV minimal (we didn’t need it so didn’t do anything about it) and the lights took a bit of getting used to as so many switches and working out which operated which lights! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Monaco!

Highly recommend

Exceptional service, views over the port and tremendous yachts. So much history and relation to formula one that you can feel the spirit throughout! Has also a splendid restaurant on the top floor that leads out to the road from where you can continue walking to the casino district.

Nice stay for a night

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

I think this was the cheapest hotel in Monaco and still very nice. It was close to everything and had a nice spacious room. All in all the hotel checked our boxes of being clean and in the city center. We have no complaints. I don't know if we'd ever come back to Monte Carlo, but if we do this is the first place I'm checking. Would definitely stay again.

Sewer flies!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 months ago

Hi - my husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in September 2023. The location is great, the room is spacious and the staff were nice. However the room was infested with sewer flies. Fly spotted and torn lampshades. The light in our closet strobed. Make up mirror was taped and inoperable. All this for only 800E a night! When I told the staff at check out about the sewer flies it seemed like it was a known problem, and I got a shrug and 'sorry'.
