Great place to stay after skiing Tremblant

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

The hotel and rooms are marvelous. Large with plenty of amenities to cook your own food if you want to. Comfy bed, nice hot tub, gas fireplace - all great after a day of skiing. The shuttle service is also very helpful. Staff were great to deal with - we highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay and service

The hotel was great! Really friendly service and chilled ambiance. I had read mixed reviews but honestly , the location is great , our room was really clean! The shuttle service runs 8am-11pm which was really useful, un gros merci aux chauffeurs de la Navette, Ils etaients tous vraiment gentil . There are no restaurant but the bar opened at 5pm and sells a few snacks like pizza, if you’re too tired to go out. (We ordered take out and went out one night ). And as for your morning coffee there are machine in the rooms or an automatic keyrig near the lobby, but it was no strong coffee! I’ll be going back again,

DO NOT BOOK HERE

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

Dirty room, sofa bed had dirty sheets still in it. Lighting was terrible in all rooms. Coffe maker leaked everywhere. Microwave undermount light didn’t work. Bar fridge in room was dicusstingly dirty. Games room - couldn’t get change for any of the games. (Pinball and pool table)Large fireplace in games room wasn’t lit until 4pm then nobody would attend to it. Very dark hallways. Nobody could help you when you had problems. One young lady at the front was very kind but couldn’t do anything. Shuttle was convenient but this wasn’t worth the gross place. Hotel is apparently owned by several people and they all own different departments. 10+yrs ago this place was awesome. Do not go here!!!! Do not go!

Ski trip

The hotel was about a 5 min drive from Mt. Tremblant village; parking was free and the staff was pleasant. There is no longer a restaurant in the hotel nor do they serve any breakfast, but having a room with a small kitchen was helpful. On the day of check in, our room safe was locked. After bringing this to the attention to the front desk staff not once, but twice, they never fixed the problem. The rooms are spacious but really dark. There are no outlets near the beds and the room was not cleaned until every 3rd day.

Family friend chateau

Booked the Chateau through Ikon travel and was a bit concerned given the reviews. On balance, it wasn’t bad and exceeded our low expectations. Property was in ok shape as the indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, gaming room and bar were open while we were there. Front desk staff was always there for a question or to help. The room had a Murphy bed, pull out sofa and king bed. While not overly large, it worked and had two full bathrooms. The kitchenette was well stocked just note the fridge is a mini-fridge. Proximity to the mountain is great - five minute drive. There is a shuttle service from the hotel but we opted to drive when we hear the shuttle stopped running one day at 3pm - we got concerned we could be stranded at the mountain after skiing, so we drove and parked. Free parking fills up quickly and early but other options are available. Really had a great time at Tremblant - we will return.
