Reviews for Fairmont Tremblant

Wonderful views and fabulous food

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We were travelling from the UK on a road trip around Eastern Canada. This is a wonderful hotel, great customer service. We loved the location of the hotel near the bottom of the ski slopes. We had a great view from our window and loved the outdoor pool.We enjoyed fatuous cocktails and a great restaurant meal, one of the holidays' highlights. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing experience.

Really loud music from the out door terrace.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I checked into Fairmont Tremblant on February 17th and didn’t expect the music from the outdoor terrace to be so loud. It continued until very late after it turned dark. We were already very tired after the drive from Toronto, and the music certainly made it worse. I had read somewhere in a review that the music was bad, and now I believe it. Not only was the music loud, but it was also very ‘cheesy’. It felt like a place catering to college kids during spring break, yet there were only a few people. This raises questions about the decision-making process of the hotel management. Obviously, the demographic of people who come to Fairmont and can afford to stay here during ski season is not college kids, and we certainly do not appreciate loud music of any kind. We paid for the most expensive hotel in Tremblant, expecting a high-quality stay. Having thundering noise throughout the entire afternoon until after dark is not luxury; it’s the opposite. I hope the management reads this and puts an end to this madness.

Great location, friendly staff, but getting dated.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

First off, this is a prime location and amazing access to the hill. In talking about rooms, the rooms are quite dated, as is the hotel. I found the rooms not up to a Fairmont standard and was quite disappointing. The service of the staff was great, and the ski valet is great. BUT, they dropped two of my skis on unload of the car (another valet attendant hit my skis with the trolley), and the stickers they put on the skis do not come off easily and make a huge mess (to four sets of skis). Quite disappointed my ski edges were damaged, and had sticker residue all over the top sheet. Restaurants are of good quality and are highly recommended. For the indoor and outdoor pools, they are well kept and family friendly. Work out area is well kept and clean. Reception staff are great and willing to help out!

A Great Time Awaits You

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

What a great hotel in so many ways. First, the staff were friendly and helpful while not being at all intrusive. Second, you are within a short, maybe 100 yards, to the lifts, a chair or gondola. Skies are stored in the lower level and you just walk out the door and onto a trail, ski down to the lift of your choice. Third, the room was comfortable and clean. We stayed on the “gold level”, which provided extra perks including a lounge with snacks and apps while a breakfast in the morning. The lounge was quiet and again the staff were kind and not intrusive. There is bar and restaurant; the bar also served food. On the lower level there is a coffee shop with wonderful lite foods. Be sure to get a hot cocoa, one of the best we ever had. The hotel had outdoor pools and a huge hot tub; there were fire pits and, of course, bar service. This was just a great place within the asking distance to the village restaurants and shops. Folks, this is worth the extra money for sure.

Our first trip to Mt Tremblant

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We had a Beautiful hotel room with great views of the quaint village and ski hill. The food was great in the main restaurant as well as the croissant shop. The staff were very attentive and helpful! They took good care of our ski equipment and you could dry your ski boots as well. The rooms were kept clean daily. The pool, hot tub and gym were all wonderful! I door and out door pools and hot tub! We will return for sure one day!
