Reviews for Hotel Quintessence
Amazing and natural beauty of a hotel. Great customer service, nice spacious rooms which fit 5 into one! Great location with lots to do nearby, the lake is swim able and is a reasonable temp! Overall one the best hotel experiences for me

Spent two nights in this absolutely stunning location. Very relaxing with great amenities both on site and in the nearby village. The rooms themselves are very spacious with private balcony over looking the lake. The bathrooms are well designed, large shower and tub. Magnificent king size beds....so comfortable! Can't say enough about the place, food was great (both breakfast and dinner) the area down by the lake with bonfire......

This is really a charming, intimate place to stay. It's location is easy proximity to the village for those that want to stay away from it all without staying away from it all. We stayed in the Executive Suite which was very large and quaint. Comfy beds, nice outdoor space, a lovely fireplace with seating area, claw foot tub and separate shower. Very European styling. Staff was lovely and attentive. Food was very good despite the reviews. My only nit with this place was the housekeeping. I think they need more attendants because it seemed as if our room was rushed to clean. There were many things out of sorts when we checked in that housekeeping should have had fixed. Nonetheless, as soon as we notified the front desk it was all taken care of. Except that each day, I noticed that the room hadn't been dusted, the bath tub not cleaned and really just the bed remade and towels re-freshened. A used candle was present by the tub. I know, nit picky, but you do expect things from a 5 star property. You should always feel like you are the only guest to use the room; not see left overs from the previous ones. There was also one early evening when housekeeping walked in (even though they heard the shower running) and tried to have a conversation with me while I was sans clothes. Wasn't too happy with that! How does the Quintessence compare to the Fairmont and Westin? No comparison. We walked through the Fairmont because it is slopeside and was unimpressed. Very underwhelming. The Westin seemed nicer and more up to date but rather generic. The Quintessence is a special place and besides the housekeeping hiccups, we would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms are fantastic and huge with the best amenities and the most gorgeous views! The staff are all top notch and very helpful and professional. The hotel is very conveniently situated close to the village. The setting of the restaurant is great allowing for lake side dining with views of the magnificent sunset! I highly recommend Hotel Quintessence!
The Quintessence is without doubt the best luxury hotel in the Laurentians. It is right on the shore of Lac Tremblant, easy walking distance to the ski hill and mountain village. All the suites are large and luxurious. The staff are highly professional but also very friendly, a difficult balance many luxury hotels have a hard time executing on. The hotel spa is amazing and there. Is a wonderful hot tub overlooking the lake.
