My husband and I stayed at the B. B. Carmassi Palace for 7 nights over Christmas. The B. B. Carmassi Palace is immaculate, stylish decor, very high standard, spotless and clean. Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast/dining room with original marble floor and wall paintings from the 16th Century. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, and together with the beautifully decorated Christmas tree, the lighting and classical music playing in the background, it was like coming home. There are also two smart lounges where one can relax. The owner Stefano, who speaks english, and his wife gave us a very warm welcome and did everything possible to make us feel at home. The B. B. Carmassi Palace is very quiet, which we loved, overlooking Montecatini vally, and right behind the square of charming Montecatini Alto with many restaurants. Parking, this time of the year was very easy.

We had received confirmation of our booking 7 months out from our stay at BB Place only to be told 2 days out that they would not honour our booking reservation. No reason was given by the property owners and we were left (booking.com helped) to find alternative arrangements in another town. Needless to say we had planned activities from this base which were made difficult due to the change. I certainly would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for professional service from their hotelier.

Amazing little hotel! Just four rooms... that make you feel like you are home. The owners are very friendly and with a great sense of hospitality. Breakfast is served in the a private dinning room and the taste of it is absolutely "homey". Bathroom and bed of great quality and taste! If you are looking for a home outside of home it is highly recommended.

Beautifully designed internally with refined taste, the photos do not do the place justice, we stayed in the Hermes suite upstairs and could not fault anything, the continental breakfast was laid out like a picture and very well supplied with fresh food and fruit + good coffee. The staff were lovely and so helpful with arranging horse riding in the mountains Staying in Alto at BB place was marvellous, it is located a short distance from the funicular railway and just as close to the main piazza where all the good restaurants are located. We will stay again next year

B&B place at Montecatini Alto is the most delightful place to stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the position has the most stunning views of Montecatini. Katerina is the most gracious and welcoming host and I can honestly say we enjoyed our stay here more than any 5star hotel we've been in. Highly recommended!
