The hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times, Wonderful reception area, lavishly appointed and decorated. All areas were spotlessly clean and rooms cleaned every day. Restaurant was excellent, with great choice of food and a different menu each night and musical entertainment in the bar area most nights. We would definitely go back again. Somebody mentioned a few poor Trip Advisor reviews, ridiculous so please ignore.

I am just writing a review as we approach the end of a fantastic holiday. We stayed in Room 102 and cannot speak highly enough about the Hotel La Pace. We have booked all inclusive which was the right choice. The Staff are Excellent and really make the difference. Giovanni the Restaurant Manager loves his job and has looked after us so well. A great ambassador to the hotel. Mrs Kikki the Bar Manager and her team have been very good. Especially the waiter Luca, who is football mad and very efficient. We have done a couple of tours and used a company recommended by the hotel reception staff especially Brigide. Breakfast is a good standard with a good choice. Lunch was also good with lots of options. However for us Dinner was great as you could choose from a Menu of 6 for starter and main courses. All served by friendly and efficient staff. This is on top of the antipasti buffet and range of desserts. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to nearby Sorrento which we used or if you walk into San’t Agnello which is only 10 Mins you can get a train to Sorrento for €1.30 each way. Finally we never expected the great weather which was a bonus. My girlfriend read the trip advisor reviews before we came and whilst we are here. I am so glad we chose this hotel as some people criticise over very minor things that are very easily rectified. Totally recommend this hotel as it’s great value for money and the people just compliment it. Mike

This hotel is so convenient in the centre of the town, but so peaceful and elegant. It is decorated in an old world style, so luxurious and glamourous. It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and we couldn't have been more.pleased. We were treated so well, particularly by Elisabeth on Reception. She was so friendly, and full of fun, a joy to talk to, and so helpful. The food, service room, cleaning etc, everything was of an extremely high standard.

My wife and myself had a wonderful trip to this hotel and were delighted when they upgraded us to a suite follow my request as it was our wedding anniversary and her 41st birthday. The hotel ticked all our boxes. My advice would be to allow some time to appreciate Montecini town itself and there is a wonderful bar/restaurant at 1 minute walk from the hotel entrance in the middle of the park. Train time to Florence is 50 mins and you will need to get a bus from the airport to the central train station in Florence to grab the train. If you stay here and want to see Florence/ Pisa and Lucca you will next 2/3 days in total as you can see Florence in a full day.
