Too many words to describe this place and at times i was left speechless. First mention goes to the wonderful staff who were all full of smiles. Special shout out to Kirk. The accommodation and grounds were simply amazing with lovely views and beach. Had the pleasure of attending a wedding there and that was spectacular. I would go back to half moon in a heartbeat/

I came to this resort for a retreat and we stayed in the villas. the villa was lovely, the individual rooms were spacious, the staff was excellent and professional. Renis our butler was polite and curteous. Pauline the cook her rice and peas I wish I could have take some home with me, so delicious and Lucille did laundry for us it was wonderful to feel like you was at home in paradise. I was amazed at how big the property is offering so much for the quest to do, while on my stay I also visted the Equestrian center, Trinia is amazing as well as the handlers, Nickroy and Smalls. The experience with the horses has made me fall more in love with these wonderful animals. After the retreat I stayed on the resort a few more days and stayed in a junior suite in the west cottages, which was right on the beach it was decorated beautifully and very spacious. During my stay I also visited the Fern Tree Spa, LeKeshia gave me the best hot stone massage I've had in a long time, she made me feel at ease, her voice was calming and I felt refreshed when I left! The food at the restaurants was tasty and the jerk burger from the jerk hut was so good! I have already told everyone who listen they must stay at Half Moon when they visit Jamaica , it a gorgeous resort and well worth your money!

This was simply the best way for me to spend my milestone birthday. Family, friends, great food and fantastic drinks. The staff at The Half Moon Bay is excellent. Our chef, Lezetia, prepared the most savory meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our butler, Phillip, was there to fulfill our every need especially when it came to the drinks. Maxine made sure that every room was neat and tidy and always greeted us with a beautiful smile. Kemar was our pool guy and made sure that the pool stayed clean and well maintained. We were so blessed to have these wonderful people there to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. I can't wait to go back!

My family has been vacationing at Half Moon for 30 years. My parents first brought us to this beautiful setting in 1985 for a wonderful two week vacation. I was 14 at the time and have since been back many many times. I am now enjoying sharing this place with my friends and family. This is truly one of the best resorts in the carribean, but the people are what make it so special and have now become our Jamaican family. Keith, one of the groundskeepers will bring you fresh coconuts that he just picked..a wonderful treat as you sit on the beach of by the pool. Donnene at the Hibiscus pool is an amazing bartender and makes great drinks. My husbands favorite caddy is Kevn but he really loves playing golf and hanging out with all of them. Primrose at the spa gave me one of the best massages of my life as well as an outstanding facial. We typically travel with our large family and stay in the villas which come with a staff and offer great privacy. We always have the same staff of Carlene, Joy, and Cecil. They are amazing at taking care of your every need but they are also just good, loving people. Carlene is an amazing cook..some of the best food I've ever had! Linval is the best pool attendant around and will bring pool toys to you if you have littles in your party. He was there every morning to clean the pool with a smile on his face. Kareem is also a great pool attendant. Cecil makes the best dirty bananas and will take care of anything you need. Joy does an amazing job at keeping the rooms clean and making sure your laundry is washed and folded at the end of the day..I mean who doesn't want that on vacation?! The people are truly the reason we come back to The Half Moon year after year. Collene Samuels in reservations took great care of us as well prior to our vacation. The only reason I did not give this review 5 stars is due to the villas needing some major renovations. We have never complained about the accommodations because we are so pampered when we are there. However, the bathrooms need some major work..there are no outlets in the bathrooms, the shower and bath handles fall off as do the faucets, they need new toilets and light fixtures and new tile..most of them are cracked. The pool decks need to be replaced or at least powerwashed. The beacfront villas have undergone refurbishment in recent years and are stunning but we typically stay in a 7 bedroom and these have not seen much TLC in recent years. With all that being said, the resort is currently in the process of completing a multi year renovation and it is my hope that the villas will be a part of this final phase and get the upgrades they so desparately need. You will not be sorry you visited the Half Moon. It will be one of the best vacations of your life! It is truly Heaven on Earth!

My best friend and I stayed at Halfmoon for two weeks, it was our first time to Jamaica and we loved every single moment of it. The staff was so welcoming, we were shuttled from the airport and checked-in at the VIP check-in lounge. We were then, whisked away to our Royal Suites via Golf carts! Our room had its own private ocean view and we had the best sleep of our lives as we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night! I am an ocean girl so I went to the beach every day. My bestie was a pool girl so she was quite happy with the Olympic size pool which was steps away from our door. Spent quite a bit of time at the swim up bar as well. Love the IL Guardino restaurant and our all time favourite was the Sugar Mill Restaurant (requires a reservation). They have their own shopping village but we decided to venture into town for shopping though for local items!! Beautiful city! Local people were quite friendly and welcoming! We checked out the Reggae Sumfest concert in the city and enjoyed it very much! Big thank you to the staff at Halfmoon. Jody, Erica, Jackie, Cecile, Dean. All the room service staff for bringing us breakfast every morning on our private patio! Fell in love with this place and hope to come back again with my family!!
