After disembarking from a cruise to Cuba which was not especially luxurious and after viewing the oppression and poverty in Cuba; the estate, lush grounds, phenomenal food, amazing service and luxurious rooms were a real treat to end my vacation in sumptuous luxury. No wonder JFK took Jackie here for their honeymoon. The rooms were designed by Ralph Lauren with windows that opened completely onto the ocean and infinity-edge pool with day beds scattered throughout the resort. I was the only one in the pool. Walking a quarter mile along the beach and cliffs to the other side of the estate to the spa with its own pool and grounds that are adults-only; I was also the only one in that pool and spa. It was as if I had the place to myself. They grow their own veggies and the chef turns out delicious creations from home-made chips for nachos Jamaican style with plantain/sweet potato/corn chips with jerk sauce to banana bread. The service is impeccable and you are treated with high regard. It was pure bliss and joy to be pampered at the spa with the vanilla sugar scrub and massage and lounging on the beach with no kids was heaven. The small footprint of the hotel with its front porch over-looking the ocean as well as all dining areas with water views made this estate stay sheer indulgence. The service and grounds can't be beat.

I love Round Hill Hotel and Villas and definitely will be back. The reason I chose this place was for the size (smallish boutique hotel) and the access to private beach. I travelled solo all over the world, but I'd love to have an extended weekend stay closer to home, 3 hours flight one way. I received very attentive service though at times, I sensed a little too formal for me. I stayed in one of the 2nd floor room at Pineapple House and I enjoyed it. It's next to the swimming pool, so you could hear the happening there during the day. But so quiet at night. I arranged a round trip transfer to and from airport for extra fee. Also taxi service for $25 pound trip to the city or local restaurants. I ran on the treadmill daily during my stay and most of the time I was the only one there in the morning. Gym was decent sized with all equipments were in great working condition. Food on-site was really good, but of course pricey. Lunch with salad and main course with no alcoholic beverage cost me close to $50 with tip. I enjoyed my breakfast buffet daily with lots of tropical fresh fruits, and wide array of dishes, including Jamaican breakfast. You got to have their mangos !!! So sweet !!! The first time I tried salted fish and ackee was during my breakfast. I'll be back for sure !

As you approach this gorgeous property that built into the mountains you feel like you've arrived to a hidden treasure! This property is offers private villas with gorgeous views of the ocean and hotel rooms sitting close to the ocean. The rooms are all well appointed designed by Ralph Lauren. I love the seaside restaurant that offers a delicious menu infused with Jamaican flavors. My favorite is the 4 pm tea time, very British and so enotable. This property is perfect for a family gathering or wedding.

Having stayed at Round Hill on a few occasions before, having our Honeymoon there was automatic. Its our little slice of heaven in Jamaica and yet again it delivered in every respect - and more. Our July visit was pure joy and relaxation amid the lush tropical vegetation. Tucked away from the main road, Round Hill offers privacy and class! As ever the staff were outstanding and nothing was ever a problem if we asked for anything! Bernard the cook at Breakfast was super helpful and always made us our favourite Ackee and Saltfish with French toast. The Pineapple Rooms where we stayed were well appointed with great views across the infinity pool and the ocean. Round Hill still possess that old Colonial charm steeped in history with a whiff of poshness - we loved it!!

Our stay at the Round Hill was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Everything at this hotel is exceptional: the villas, the staff, the hotel grounds, the fitness center, the breakfast buffet as well as the restaurants and bars. Oh and that coffee!! When we booked our trip we were looking for a relaxing beach vacation and this is exactly what we got. The Round Hill is the kind of resort you don't have or want to leave while you're there. We enjoyed one of the villas, not knowing ahead of our stay, that it included a private chef (in our case Jennifer who was wonderful) who would prepare and serve a delicious breakfast for you on your private patio. The hotel grounds are superb. The pool are is wonderful and never too crowded. Make sure to order a Dirty Banana while you're there! We also very much enjoyed the beach (which is only accessible to hotel guests) with an early morning coffee. About the Blue Mountain coffee: the simple drip coffee which is available in the hotel lobby is better than any other coffee we've ever had anywhere else. We normally don't like to revisit a hotel for the sake of increasing the amount of different experiences in our lives but in the case of the Round Hill we are very happy to make an exception!
