Everything was excellent. The rooms were spectacular and very clean. The hotel was beautiful, and the amenities were very appropriate and fun. The only two things I would change are related to the pool area and the restaurant. At the pool, I think it would be much more enjoyable if the large screen showed music videos or something more entertaining. The music was great, but the screen only showed football games with no sound. Honestly, I didn’t really see the point of having that on the screen for hours. As for the restaurant on the first floor, the menu is very limited, and I personally wouldn’t recommend it. It is quite expensive, and I don’t think the quality of the food matches the prices. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Overall, our experience at Margaritaville Lake Resort in Conroe was good. Communication with the front desk was very easy via text, and they were always responsive. At check-in, our representative was kind and courteous. When we got to our room, there was a noticeable pet odor. We contacted the front desk, but unfortunately they were unable to move us since the resort was sold out. Aside from that, the room itself was beautiful and had an amazing view. We also loved that there were hydration stations conveniently located throughout the property. We had breakfast at the resort and chose the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. We’ve stayed at hotels with complimentary breakfasts that offered more variety and better flavor. For the price, we expected much more. The food lacked flavor overall, and the coffee tasted very watered down. We didn’t mention it before leaving because it was the end of our trip, but after discussing it on the drive home, we agreed we would have been much happier stopping at McDonald’s for breakfast instead. While we enjoyed our stay overall, we would not recommend spending the extra money on the breakfast buffet.

Tom and Kevin are amazing. We came the first day and had plans the second day. But ended up coming back the second day to License and Chill just to hangout with them! They are great at what they do and you can tell they enjoy being at work. Highly highly recommend!!!

We had a good time at the Margaritaville Resort but it could have been better. We went to the resort two years ago in September. Both poolside bars and the waterslide were open. This year we came on August 19th and the poolside bars and waterslide were closed Wednesday and Thursday. We were not informed about the closures until we arrived Wednesday. Our room was excellent. We had lakeside suite with balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. The rooms were all very clean. We ate at all the restaurants and the portions were large and very tasty. The pools were clean and the water was very warm. I played at the golf course and it was a fun, challenging layout. It is quite expensive to stay here but they do offer specials for three night stays. We did have a fun time at the large pool and swim up bar when they had the music playing. The resort rents out watercraft of all sizes. I would highly recommend the resort but verify which attractions are open.

Everything was good, I would have loved for the swim up bars to be open. They stated it was because summer was pretty much over, but there were a lot of kids with families and it still should be open from maybe 5-8 during the week.
