Great location, unique decor all in dark jewels tones. Small room but has everything you need for a quick overnight stay. Our package included breakfast which was nice. We parked in the lot behind the hotel as it was $20 overnight (vs paying their $35 valet). Even though we told the hotel we were celebrating a milestone birthday, there were no special touches done to our reservation. Our experience with boutique hotels is they go above expectations to make the stay special - a simple card or small bottle of bubbly would have been a nice touch.

I’m a regular guest at St Paul Hotel... and would say that this is by far my favourite hotel in the Montreal area. Service is fantastic, staff are very friendly, and the rooms are also very spacious and comfortable. There are quite a few suites which are amazing and if you get the chance to stay in one of the “11” suites - you wont be disappointed. The hotel is situated above the Hambar restaurant which is a fantastic place for dining, and also provides the room service. The local is really good - located in old Montreal, and a fairly short walk to anywhere in the area. If you’re going to the main city area, it’s also not too far and I would usually walk to the city also (about 10 - 15 mins walk). I would highly recommend staying at St Pauls.

Medium sized boutique hotel with an updated hip, yet refined vibe. Capable, well stocked bar. Breakfast buffet seemed about the usual (plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt and healthy options). Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant - it seemed interesting. Workout facility was small (as one might expect) but, equipped with modern elliptical and treadmill both in great shape. Free weights also available. Suite was very sizable with dining table, lounging area (TV, desk, etc.) and separate area for king bed that also included a TV. In-room safe, coffee, ironing, Wi-Fi, and ample wardrobe storage. Bathroom was top notch with natural shower (no full shower door?) and oversized tub. Bathrobes included. Location is in Old Town near Notre Dame and easy walking to the water and very interesting shopping, coffee and dining. Nearby Costa, Costa Spa is worth the visit.

Good hotel in central location close to Old Montreal and just a walk from downtown and the Metro. Stayed here for business trip for 10 days. Upper class interior and friendly staff. Nespresso machine and Iron in room. You will get a note with the weather forecast daily.

Great hotel. Located in old Montreal. Nice classic modern design. Highly comfortable rooms with best ever beds. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately a bit old-fashioned breakfast. Great connection to Ham Bar.
