Upon check-in, we realized there was loud construction across the street, and I was worried. The receptionist in the evening told us it is difficult to move rooms, but they will check again the next day. We got woken up at 7am the next morning from loud noises from the early construction, which was not ideal. I called the front desk again, and Arezo really made us feel cared for. She immediately switched our room and asked if we needed help with our bags. We are so thankful for her kindness and compassion to us as guests! She made the biggest different during our stay at Place d'Armes. The rest of our stay was wonderful- the hotel provided umbrellas during a snowy/rainy day, the beds were comfortable, showers were great water pressure, and the distance from Old Montreal was perfect to walk. We would stay here again- thank you Arezo! You are the best!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, has excellent amenities, and friendly, helpful staff. The location is excellent, close to lots of attractions. Ricardo, the Chief Concierge is a fountain of knowledge about what to see and do in the area. He is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to provide a great customer experience and is an asset to the hotel. I highly recommend Hotel Place D’Armes,

From the moment we arrived until the time we left, our experience at Hotel Place d’Armes was nothing short of exceptional! The service we received (as per usual) never disappoints! From valet to room service, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Considering it was a busy weekend in the neighbourhood and despite crossing many guests during our stay, the hotel room remained remarkably quiet, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy our stay. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided all the amenities we could ask for. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best that Montreal has to offer. There’s a reason why we keep returning, Hotel Place d’Armes is our home away from home.

Excellent location, however rooms differ in size as this is an old hotel. My room was large and spacious, with an amazing bed. Request a corner room that over looks the square, mine had a huge view and 3 windows (room 1.202). Please note the 1.201 room is quite small and lacks light. Over all, would return to this hotel/ very romantic and prime location. Here for meetings & the food was ok at out conference events (note – the soup was consistently cold every day, and offerings were just ok. Our gala dinner wasn’t great – most of my colleagues complained about the steak and the fish and chicken did not get rave reviews. Beds are super comfortable & great pillows; Will certainly be back!

At the Hotel Place d’Armes, we arrived very late one night and had an unbelievable late night dinner at the adjoining restaurant. The hotel itself is very nice and well-maintained, and the rooms were great. I contacted the concierge beforehand and they really set me up with some great advice on restaurants and things to do.
