Reviews for Le Saint Sulpice
This room was really a suite and it was large and well-appointed. We were provided slippers and robes. The wine in the fridge was super-expensive. Good thing I don't drink . We put out a request to clean the room and they never showed. Other than that, perfect. Friendly and helpful concierge.

Arrived at the St.Sulpice for the very busy Formula One weekend. What I noticed right away was that the location was right around the block from Notre Dame and right in the heart of all the fesitivities, however, still on a side street that had not a lot of traffic. Everything about this place is 1st class. Check in was seamless, the room was big and clean. A separate bedroom from the main living area and the bathroom. My view was of the courtyard (not the greatest view) but considering how little time I actually spent in the room I wasn't going to hold that against the hotel. The courtyard itself was a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle right around the corner. If you want lively, it 30 feet away. If you want a bit of relaxation, the hotel courtyard is perfect, with bar of course.

The St Sulpice is beautiful and right in the heart of Old Montreal. My partner and I were very excited to be there for my best friends' wedding (I was maid of honour). We checked in a day early. I covered the first day of our stay and the family of the bride was covering the last two days. I noted this to staff at St Sulpice when I was making the reservation. I ended up having to explain it at least 4 times over the course of my stay. When we checked in we learned we got upgraded (amazing). The employee who checked us in led us to believe that he would keep us in the upgraded room for the duration of our stay. However, two minutes after arriving in the room, he called up and said he 'couldn't find our second reservation' and neither of our names was attached to a reservation beyond that one night. (He eventually found it, under the name of the mother of the bride). After this exchange he informed me that we would have to check out of our first room, stow our bags at the concierge, make ourselves busy for 3-4 hours and then check in to our second room. We did that. Upon checking in for the second time, I was again informed that there was no reservation for me under the bridal party. I was halfway through calling the bride, the day before her wedding, to sort this out when they finally found it, for a second time. We requested a room with a balcony and were told there were none available and nothing could be done. Fine (except, when multiple other members of the wedding party checked in, they were given rooms with balconies). Cut to the night of the wedding, I'm running around doing my maid of honour duties, trying to keep everything running smoothly. There were a few snafus throughout the night and the bride really needed me. My partner was running up to our room to grab something and discovered that BOTH our keycards had been deactivated. He ran down to the front desk and was informed that the staff would not be able to reactivate them unless I came and showed them picture ID. Minutes before the bridal procession into the reception hall, I had to run to the front desk with my ID so my partner could get into our room. On the last day, checking out, we were told our balance was in the realm of $300, even though we had purchased no incidentals or anything from the mini bar. Once again, we had to have a discussion about the fact that our reservation was covered by the bride's family, and finally we were able to leave. Once again, beautiful location but what we experienced was nowhere near what I would expect from an upscale hotel (charging the prices that they do) in terms of customer service.

What a great hotel! We had a group meeting here. The employees were great, very friendly and helpful. The meeting facilities were comfortable, well designed and well located in the hotel. The food was excellent. My suite was amazing - very comfortable, clean, luxurious and very quiet. The bed was perfect, and I was able to sleep well (unusual for me in hotels). Overall, a perfect hotel experience, and I cannot think of anything I would change.
