Loved every minute of our stay

One of the best experiences! The level of service was top notch from the manager to the cleaners to the wait staff. We went to celebrate my fiancés birthday and received a birthday surprise delivery to our room. We highly recommend this hotel.

Relaxing Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We decided to splurge at the Ritz Carlton hotel during our stay in Montreal. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable. Desk contained the in room safe plus a box full of actual office supplies. The bathroom was stocked with L'Occitane amenities but also included a floss dispenser, a first for us, and a very useful heated towel rack. We also received reusable bottles of their “cryo” water which was highly purified through micro filtration per the note. Service was top notch. The staff overseeing our room, Juan and Andy, did an excellent job. Amenities were always topped off during the day. Turndown service was a nice welcome back to our room each evening. Pool was on the penthouse floor with views of the surrounding area. It was nice having a gas fireplace to warm up while toweling off after a swim. They even had kickboards and noodles and an on demand bubbling function that could be turned on for the kids. The gym was fully outfitted with multiple sets of dumbbells, a smith machine, weight stack, three benches, multiple bikes, elliptical and treadmills, a stairmaster, another rowing machine and more. A refrigerator with cold drinks and towels plus a bowl of fruit rounded out the gym amenities. For the price paid, I really expected a little more to be offered such as having a Club Lounge on site or more benefits for members of the Bonvoy program. However we were well relaxed after our stay which was the most important result for this trip!

Good service

We had a great few nights at this Ritz location. Room was fantastic with the fireplace. Bathroom and bathtub was very spacious. We celebrated our anniversary and we received a complimentary dessert which was a nice touch. I just think this hotel could really use a facelift soon. Everything is beginning to look dated and tired. Service overall was excellent and l would definitely stay again. .

We don't want to leave...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Our family just fished an absolutely amazing stay at our first ever Ritz-Carlton. The Montreal property is truly one of a kind (we have been to the Park Hyatt in NYC, W Hotels, many J.W. Marriott(s) around the world, and our share of luxury hotels). We received a pleasant phone call the day (wish I knew the representative, she was so nice and accommodating) before about our upcoming stay and questions regarding allergies with our family.  Here are some of the reasons why this stay was so special and memorable to my daughters: 1. Water and warm towel greet at the front desk, perfect welcome after a long day of travel. 2. Superb Upgrade to a beautiful two room suite (609 and 610) without having to request it beforehand, girls loved the extra space and played their pretend games in both rooms. 3. Hand written welcome note from Ms. Cristina (wow), two Ritz-Carlton signature lions and two enormous personalized chocolate animal figurines (they were gorgeous) were waiting in the rooms, our girls were so surprised and ecstatic!!! 4. Evening turn down service with more chocolates. 5. The swimming pool was fantastic on the top floor with a breathtaking view of the Montreal skyline.  6. Breakfast was delicious the next morning right near check-in. 7. Our girls didn't want to leave this iconic property next day.  Everyone was so kind and friendly and we can't rave about this exclusive property enough!!! Thank you Ms. Cristina and the rest of your outstanding staff for making this a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our girls!!!

Amazing service and quality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This hotel is an oasis in Montreal. The top notch service and quality. The hotel is in a historical building. It tastefully combines the history with modern vibes. The room was large with a large bathroom, and both a bath tube and a shower. We loved it. The service was amazing, notably the porter who explained everything about the room in a very friendly and funny manner. We really appreciated his way of doing things. The breakfast was great, huge portions so be careful when ordering ;-) the croissants and pains au chocolate were the best we had in Canada. We did not have time to try the pool but we went up to have a look. It is great, inviting to chill and relax. So next time, we will make sure to allow for enough time. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel and if we are back to Montreal, we know where to stay.
