Where to start? The hotel is above a nightclub, so all night long it is surrounded by loud, drunken, smokers that you will have to push past if you are coming from the nearest train station (Saint Laurent). It is also quite loud in the hallways from the club and the restaurant. The HVAC is of poor quality; it was over 23 degrees in my room and I had to get them to reset the unit in my room. It too 48 hours to get the room down to 20 degrees. A maintenance man entered unannounced to fix my toilet (I never called about a toilet issue) one morning. The restaurant is only open limited hours. The salon was never open the entire time I was there. On check out there was only one person working the front desk, and I was not asked how I enjoyed my stay (perhaps she assumed I didn't). The location is pretty good, right across from Just for Laughs, close to a metro stop, and an easy walk anywhere on the Plateau or Downtown.

I stayed at hotel 10 twice this year. Both times I loved everything about this hotel, location, room cleanness and the staff. Let me start with the front desk, I received a very fast professional service (met all my requests). Sabrina (Front Desk Supervisor) is an excellent supervisor, she will go out of her way to make sure that everything is PERFECT with your stay. This hotel offers drop off service in downtown area only, I dealt with Maxime and he is an amazing guy, and I'm sure all the others are good like him. Bottom line, this is my second home every time I'm back to Montreal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Montreal.

I stayed at hotel 10 along with my girlfriend for 5 days for a business trip. I have no complaints at all about Hotel 10. All the staff, valet, were so accommodating. The rooms very clean and cozy. We espically had a great experience with Denis the chef. Denis went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. One day we actually went down for breakfast and it was already over, he went to the kitchen brought us food and even cooked up some eggs. He makes every person feel so welcome, very inviting and funny personality, not to mention the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The only bad thing is Denis had really bad Toronto Maple leaf jokes...lol (We'll have the last laugh)

Stayed here and totally enjoyed this boutique hotel. The service, the staff, the room, the outdoor patio. The breakfast at this hotel is on of the best I have ever had. Hidden Gem in Montreal. Will definitely return.

I read the reviews before going and saw a lot of complaints about the construction noise outside. We heard it. Had it not been for the complimentary ear plugs (brought straight away), the stay would not have been tolerable. Construction in downtown Montreal is not hotel 10s fault, and they do all they can to remedy the situation. Anyone leaving 1 star reviews because of the noise should be ashamed of themselves. In regards to the hotel itself, the only thing I'd like to have seen was a few more people in the bar and patio area. We were there two nights and both nights the bar was a graveyard. Outside of that, it's a fantastic hotel. The beds are great, along with everything else in the room.
