We came here for the Brew-fest in Montreal. The locations is right in the heart of Montreal and convenient for walking or public transportation. The hotel room is large and extremely comfortable. And of course spotless.

The renovated Queen Elizabeth lived up to our expectations. The reconfigured lobby is stunning and, while one might regret the departure of old favorites such as the Beaver Hall restaurant and adjacent bar, change and modernization seem inevitable these days. While we did not sample it, the lobby coffee bar looked well patronized and comfortable while the lobby food emporium had a varied selection of foods and comestibles and, in particular, a rabbit pate which we took home. We did, however, wonder whether, without a flow through of foot traffic with the exception of the patrons of the hotel, it is destined for a long life. Even for patrons, the seeming absence of a selection of wines for sale was a tad disappointing. Our room on one of the Gold Floors was spacious and comfortable though one expected the upgrade to include a walk in shower rather than a tub-based shower. The new Gold Floor lounge is modern, spacious and with spectacular views though somewhat austere when compared with its predecessor. However, the breakfast and evening selections were first rate and the service very friendly and anxious to help, a comment that applies equally if not more to Andree who checked us in when we arrived on Wednesday of last week. She was exceptional.

Our 8 year old daughter has celiac disease and she was very well taken care of. A big thanks Mark, our server at the breakfast buffet. He always made sure we got some GF toast and fresh butter. He also got special permission from his manager to get some treats from the Artisan Market for her. The room service team was very knowledgeable and also took great care of our daughter. She really loved the charcuterie plate and the chocolate mousse. Be sure and take advantage of the excellent concierge team before and during your stay. Mary Lou has been my main contact the last two trips and she is outstanding at remembering what you did during your last stay and providing new suggestions. World class! I ordered some wine through the SAQ online, and she received the order and had it sent to our room for us. A great way to save some time if you like to bring your own wine to the room. We look forward to going back again this year.

Definitely enjoyed coming here often. The facilities were good. Conference area was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant and cafe at the lobby were above average. Good place to be if you're in Montreal for the Winter time
