Hotel Gault

Perfect location in old town Montreal a few blocks from the Notre Dame basilica, our suite was big and beds are very comfortable! The Matto restaurant is delicious! Def try it ! The whole staff was friendly and attentive!

The location and the rooms were excellent and of a 5-star hotel on every level. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only service that did not meet expectations when we checked out was the valet service. When we dropped off the valet was fantastic however in the am when we were checking out, I had requested our car be ready for us at a certain time and as per their instructions I did make the request at the front desk 45 minutes before the needed time. They failed to bring the car up and after waiting for 10 mins I asked again and then the valet ran and got the car which did put us behind in catching our flight, But the rest of our stay was excellent and would highly recommend the hotel

The location in the Old City of Montreal can't be beat. It is an unusual combination of an old 19th century building that has been completely renovated throughout with attractive contemporary decor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious (e.g. salmon on bagel with cream cheese and garden salad). It is a charming boutique hotel with just 30 roomy suites. It's on a quiet back street within a short walk of restaurants, shops and the River.
