We were so happy to return to Sofitel for another family reunion/Canadian Thanksgiving. The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy a walking weekend, with minimal need for taxis. As always, the staff were super helpful, accommodating our every request. We love our Sofitel breakfasts - those pastries - it's just like being in Paris. We will be back again and again!

This hotel I have stayed at before and enjoyed. The bathroom was fantastic. It has a bath and shower and a huge tabletop that could accommodate all of the toiletries of four people. The view from the room was nice. We could see right out across the city. The location is fantastic. We went there for a concert and the Bell Centre was within walking distance. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and a whole shopping district close by. You can also walk to old Montreal in 15-20 minutes if you like a short nice walk. The beds at this hotel were INCREDIBLY comfortable. So comfortable that it makes you check the tags to see where everything is made. ; ) In any case, I would definitely return.

Loved my room, the lobby bar, the concierge (unbelievably helpful in finding restaurants that were well wtihin our budgets). My only criticism is very small - the bathroom is somewhat non-functional - shelf is tiny!

I travel a lot, and hotel staff either makes or brakes the experience. My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff members from the receptionist to the valet attendant treated me with respect and very amiably. The facilities reflected the personnel in every way. So over all, a five star experience....!

We would have never thought of Sofitel, but our travel agent found it for us following a 10 day cruise from New York City to Montreal. We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience .This hotel was located about 1.5 miles from the historic district and the beautiful Basilica Notre Dame. Also was within easy walking distance to Mont Royal. Staff was friendly and gladly helped with dining suggestions - which were plentiful within a block or 2. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! By the way - Montreal was a very friendly place to visit, even for someone who knows NO French.
