The Elevation Hotel has a great location. You can easily access the ski slopes or hiking trails from the back door of the hotel. The rooms are nice and the hotel restaurant is great. They have awesome breakfast and delicious burgers.

Great accommodations! Hotel is located on the hill, ski in/out. Large rooms, clean, full kitchen. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to park under building, short drive to town. Many wonderful restaurants. Fantastic ski experience. Lots and lots of terrain.

Stayed at this place for a four night getaway with the family for a ski trip. PROs: The location of the resort was spot on. We were out of our room and on the slopes within five minutes. The room was very spacious and clean as well as the resort. There is plenty of room to have your own space within the property if you want to play games, sit by the fire, etc…. CONs: The water in the shower is hit or miss with hot water. One morning it is warm, the next it is slightly warm. We had to request our room to get cleaned rather than the staff just cleaning as expected. The hot tubs outside were not very warm and the water seemed quite cloudy. I would have given this place a four or even a five star review but we had an issue with a dog bite on the first day we were there that put a damper on our vacation and limited our time skiing on the mountain. This is a dog friendly place. Be prepared to be around dogs in the hotel and the outside bar. It is a little uncomfortable eating a sandwich outside at the bar table with a dog sitting next to you waiting for scraps to drop. Very annoying. My real issue with the stay was my wife getting bit by a dog in the elevator the first day we were there. After this happened, the bellhop did not do much to help out with the situation. She was bit in the hand and bled immediately. Thankfully the dog owner took the responsibility and help my wife out with the whole situation. She took her to the closest medical facility and sat with her as she had her hand stitched up by the local doctor. Once I knew she was going to be OK, I then called the front desk to inform them of the situation. The response from them was “Please call back tomorrow when a manager is on duty”. Nothing was done from that point. They did not ask my name, room number, how and when it happened, etc… Kind of odd. The next day I went to the concierge desk and wanted to inform them in person and I got the SAME response. Seriously? They seemed like it was not a big deal. I did not want my vacation to be mandated by staying at the property during the day to WAIT for the manager on duty to be there so I can report the dog bite. Finally, the day we checked out, my wife notified the desk manager who then took our information. She informed us that she will immediately contact their HR department to inform them of the issue and will call us back later that day to let us know that HR was contacted and how they were going to compensate us for the setback. We did not receive any call that day or the days since. It has been almost two weeks and we still have NOT heard back from them. I want to say I would come back and stay here but I am not sure I would based on how they handled our situation.

Stayed here with some friends over closing weekend. The hotel and facilities are nice (though only one of the hot tubs was working) but the front desk staff was not always very helpful or accommodating for what seemed like reasonable requests. There were 3 of us in a room that would easily accommodate 4. There were two robes in the closet and we would like a 3rd to visit the spa. On our first request, we were told over the phone with the front desk that each room only comes with two robes so we could not get a third, our second request was in person at the front desk and was written down but never delivered (we made the request before we left for skiing all day), our third request came with a promise that we were not trying to take the robes and they would have three robes upon our departure and finally we were able to get an additional robe. It seemed silly to have to ask so many times. The front desk staff was very short in response and didn't come off as very friendly. I'd like to think perhaps we just encountered a rare disregard. Our room was nice enough but the walls are thin. You hear the neighbors and hallway conversations pretty clearly. Our room also had a lack of lighting as there were only two small table lamps and made evenings a bit dark trying to find things in the wardrobe. On the plus side, the kitchenette was nice to have and came stocked with dishes. It was well lit! There was a lot of space but not a lot of outlets or USB plugs.
