PERFECT Spring Break Ski Weekend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Started when we pulled up to the curb... the Bellhop knew my Name & that we had shipped in our ski gear....Wow. Room was awesome with mini kitchen, fridge & coffee maker. TV needs Upgrade but worked to watch March Madness. Jose/Tex Mex restaurant solid food with awesome Margaritas. The patio was ROCKING Saturday after skiing....DJ + live band....great vibe full of cool locals. We hit the nice clean indoor pool, giant sauna & whirlpool daily. Outdoor hot tubs when it was snowing = amazing. Got (2) 60 min massages in Spa....$300 but worth it. Comfy lobby with pool table & huge TV showing sports/ski videos. Slopes/Lifts are literally 100' walk. Ski valet onsite. Parking $30 per day is steep but we flew from Montrose (2 hour drive) so we needed Rental car + we wanted to go out to eat in nearby CB Town which is 10 min easy drive. Service TOP NOTCH. We left our (2) boxes of ski gear @ the Front Desk upon Check Out; however, UPS only picked up 1 after we flew Home. I emailed Annie Grillo, Guest Services Mgr. & she immediately responded that 1 of our boxes was still there & she drove it herself to UPS Store. Super Kind & we are grateful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else but Elevation.

The perfect family getaway!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Traveling with a 16 month old can present unique challenges. Crested Butte is great to avoid the I-70 madness. Elevation takes it to another level with its perfect location, spacious rooms, and friendly staff! As hospitality professionals my wife and I know that finding the right accommodation when traveling with our growing family can make or break the trip. The Elevation hotel and spa checked all the boxes on our trip to CB this winter (great snow helped too). Their family friendly amenities were perfect. The spa, hot tub and sauna were great for unwinding. The spacious room provided enough room for everyone to relax and their staff was extremely friendly and welcoming at every encounter during our stay. If you are looking for slope side lodging that has everything you will need for a great winter or summer stay, this is your place.

Ski In/Out resort with everything you need onsite!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I love staying here and have twice before this last visit. Crested Butte is amazing, the skiing, food/beverages and why not stay somewhere you can hop out of bed and right on the mountain. There is a full restaurant on site, bar and many activities (ping pong, pool, indoor pool, hot tubs, sauna and outdoor hot tubs too! Elevation has been my go to for lodging and you should definitely check it out.

Arrival experience was not great

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Overall the hotel was actually nice and so was the staff. Our arrival experience was awful though due to the parking. I understand they had an event happening but the hotel parking wasn’t even hotel guests so when we wanted to park we couldn’t. Spend about 2 hours talking to staff and trying to park at the hotel, or just somewhere so we could go ski before lifts closed. Rickie the bellman was actually awesome, just the whole arrival was crazy. After the arrival everything was pretty great, but started our trip off on the wrong foot.

Outdated hotel with hidden $60 daily fees

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The location for the resort was absolutely amazing as it is ski in ski out. That's sort of where it ends. We were thinking it would be on the cheaper side compared to other places we saw, however got smacked with $30 parking fee per day (if you have a roof rack you can't even park in the parking lot and still pay the fee lmao) and a $30 resort fee per day. The indoor hot tub was broken and the jets in the outdoor one were broken. The locks for the pool were broken so half the people we talked to werent even staying at the hotel. The tvs were from 2002 and didn't have a TV guide. If you are looking for a ski in ski out expensive hotel from hot tub time machine this place is for you.
