Of all the places we have celebrated the festive season, our stay at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club stands out as something truly special. From the very first gate, we felt we were entering another world. The drive through the serene, canopied grounds was magical, setting the tone for a peaceful retreat. The warmth and friendliness of every single staff member was incredible smiles everywhere, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail was beautiful, from the elegant decor and our comfortable room to the enchanting Christmas tent and lovely music. The entire team did a wonderful job. We must give special thanks to Wilson, Kiprop and Martin, who made our bush breakfast such a delight. And a huge recognition to Isaac Nabi, whose welcoming and attentive service made us feel so comfortable and cared for. GM Veronique was equally attentive and always there to welcome us anytime we came for our meals. We are already looking forward to returning next December! One small suggestion for an even better experience: given the cold nights next to the mountain, perhaps the evening dress code could allow for a little more warmth. It got quite chilly, and a little flexibility with hoodies or caps would make guests more comfortable. Thank you for a memorable holiday. We can’t wait to come back.

Very serene and beautiful Well organized and clean The cleanliness was commendable Very easy and direct to get to the hotel. Quite ok The staff were amazing though we had one or two encounters with not so great staff, the worst being at the spa however the management took control of the situation. I would however like to mention a few of the amazing staff who went over and beyond to make our stay even better, our housekeeper Jacinta, what an amazing lady she was. The size of our room was not to our preference but she made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay given that we had a small baby. She had an amazing attitude and did her job to perfection. We truly, truly appreciate her. Secondly I would love to appreciate Elizabeth from the restaurant, she was quite helpful especially with our baby’s meals. A few other people that made our experience amazing were Kelvin ( the tour guide) Evans (our waiter during the signature breakfast), Benson, David and Omondi at the front desk, amazing gentlemen, and Angeline the hostess. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking to have a serene and magical experience. Amenities are well maintained as well.

My family and I visited this tremendously beautiful hotel on 30th December to 2nd January 2026. The hotel is lash with thick healthy grass all around with a golf course on site which also holds water bodies where one can do fishing. A Maze perfectly placed near the walking path to the river is scenic and fun. We had an awesome experience with horse riding in the wild and came close to zebras and giraffes feeding within the conservancy. The kids club made sure my children remained engaged and made several new friends leaving room for me to enjoy my walks and coffee while looking at The Scenic Mount Kenya. On our last day we enjoyed the Kimani Boma breakfast in the wild! EPIC Mr Isaac Nabi, the Director of logistics ensured our coordinated activities were seamless and once stepped in to take us for a drive to the river for pictures. Mr Jasper, Mr Omondi, Mr Darrel and Ms Eileen stood out for being helpful and friendly. The accommodation was truly comfortable and relaxing. A fire burning as you read a book in bed was memorable. The house keeping staff who included Mr Mbogo made sure the firewood was replenished timely. I want to come back here at least every month! It was fabulous.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club during the festive season. The atmosphere was amazing, and the food was excellent, making the celebrations truly special. We especially enjoyed visiting the animal orphanage, which was a memorable and meaningful experience. The staff were incredibly kind and professional throughout our stay. Lavender and Caren made us feel right at home, and Nypha at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. Although we can’t mention everyone, the service at the bar and the tent was outstanding. Overall, it was a fantastic family getaway, and we look forward to returning.
