Dusit Thani Maldives

We had an absolutely fantastic family holiday at Dusit Thani Maldives. The island scenery is breathtaking, and the whole resort offers a very relaxing atmosphere for families. We would like to give special thanks to our butler Muhey Min. He took great care of us throughout our stay. He kindly gifted us four complimentary travel‑photography shots. The photos turned out amazing and perfectly captured our precious holiday moments. Dining experience was impressive as well. The BBQ dinner at The Market restaurant was absolutely memorable, with great food and lovely atmosphere. We also joined the complimentary tennis experience, all members of our family really had a wonderful time playing tennis. Once again, huge thanks to our butler Muhey Min for his thoughtful, efficient service. He responded quickly to all our requests and made our trip much more comfortable and enjoyable. All staff are warm‑hearted. We would love to come back in the future and highly recommend this resort for family travellers.

We had a wonderful holiday at Dusit Thani Maldives. We stayed in a beachfront pool villa for ten nights in August. The villa was spacious and beautiful with a large pool and situated on a lovely stretch of beach. The island is stunning - very lush with many tall coconut palms. The all inclusive package includes dining at the à la carte restaurants and the food and beverages were all top notch. My husband is a keen diver and he fulfilled his ambition of diving with whalesharks here! He rates the whole dive team very highly indeed. It was fun to cycle round the island on the complimentary bikes, and it was a really nice touch to host the management cocktails get together on an isolated sandbank (even though we were caught up in a rain storm, which was very funny). We’ve not experienced this at any of the other resorts we’ve stayed at. The weather wasn’t the best during our stay but I can honestly say that we had a fantastic time despite this. We always travel to the Maldives in low season and will continue to do so. The staff members here are wonderful from the ever visible and friendly manager, Jean-Louis, to all the Sand Bar bartenders, the waiters at Sea Grill and Benjarong, and the house keeping and gardening team. Thank you to everyone. I don’t have all the names but standouts were Hanif, Prabath, Sarath, Raveesha, Supon, Prang, Roche and Mohamed. Also our butler Nizam. Apologies if I have spelled anyone’s name wrong, and apologies for drinking the island dry of the lovely Gosset champagne! Just a couple of minor criticisms: it seems a bit petty that guests on the all inclusive or full board packages can have lunch only on the day of arrival OR departure. We haven’t experienced this policy at any of the other eight resorts we have stayed at in the Maldives. Also, we feel that the use of the Dusit Thani seaplane lounge should be complimentary for those guests who have late evening international departures. We had to change airlines due to the Middle East conflict and unfortunately that meant a very late flight home. After asking our butler, Nizam, and explaining that we had missed one day of our holiday due to the poor weather in Male when we should have arrived, use of the lounge was offered to us. However, these are small issues and I would not hesitate to return here!

This was our fourth time in the Maldives, and over the years we have travelled extensively and stayed in many resorts around the world. For this reason, I can genuinely say that the level of care and personal attention we experienced at **Dusit Thani Maldives** was something truly exceptional. The island is beautiful, the sea is spectacular and the house reef is absolutely wonderful. Snorkelling directly from the island was one of the highlights of our stay, with an incredible variety of marine life. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, the food was consistently excellent across the different restaurants, and every member of staff we met was kind, professional and genuinely willing to help. What made our experience particularly special, however, was the extraordinary attention we received throughout our stay. We felt looked after from the beginning to the very end, in a way that we have rarely experienced elsewhere. A very special mention must go to our butler, Saeed. He is simply a wonderful person and represents everything you would hope to find in someone looking after you during a holiday. He was always available whenever we needed him, anticipated our needs, found solutions to every request or small problem, and somehow managed to be constantly present without ever being intrusive. That balance is not easy to achieve. Saeed made everything feel effortless. Whatever we asked, his response was always kind, calm and positive, and you could genuinely feel that he cared about making our family’s stay as enjoyable as possible. He also helped us make our final days particularly special, creating memories that we will take home with us. I have visited the Maldives four times and stayed in many high-level international resorts, but the warmth, attention and genuine hospitality we received at Dusit Thani really stood out. Beautiful island, fantastic reef, excellent food and outstanding service. But ultimately, it is the people who transform a beautiful resort into an unforgettable experience. Thank you to the entire Dusit Thani team, and especially to Saeed and Siraj. You made our holiday truly special, and we hope to return.

We absolutely loved our stay! Our water villa with pool was lovely, reef full of fish is amazing - we saw nurse sharks every day and also our friendly big octopus, manta trip was perfect too. Food was great, I already miss smiling Mia and we so enjoyed biking around the island! Our butler Anas was great help with everything, always available, nice and smiling. Thank you!! Thank you and all the staff for lovely birthday for our daughter too! Simply - just perfect holiday :-) We hope to come back again!

The island is beautiful, lots of trees and shade. The reef is very accesible and all around the island. You can ride a bycycle around the island in 7 munutes. We stayed in owerwater villa and beach villa with pool and both are nice and spacious. The breakfast is amazing, omlets are perfect. Our waiter Gabby did all that we felt satisfied. Our buttler Anas was the best. Also the our room cleaner and the waiters in Sea Grill, especially the one who teach our children how to make decoration out of napkins. The only downside is that there should be one more restaurant (maybee Italian), because the Market restaurant is buffet style and we like more a la carte options.
