Dusit Thani Maldives

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Dusit Thani Maldives. The island is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. A special mention goes to our butler, Saeed, who is exceptional. He was always available whenever we needed anything, incredibly attentive to every request, and made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The Baa Atoll is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful areas of the Maldives that we have experienced so far. We love discovering different resorts in the Maldives, and the marine life around Dusit Thani is truly spectacular. During our stay, we were lucky enough to see turtles, sharks, rays, an incredible variety of fishes, and even dolphins during our sunset cruise. These moments made our experience particularly memorable. The entire Dusit Thani team deserves recognition as well. Everyone we met was kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which created a lovely atmosphere throughout the resort. There are just two points where we feel there could be some improvement. First, we would appreciate more transparency regarding the spa services. We had a package offering a 15% discount on spa treatments, but at checkout we were informed that the treatments we had chosen including a Couples massage and a Therapeutic massage were not eligible for the discount. It would be very helpful if the spa menu clearly indicated which treatments are included or excluded, so guests can make their choices with full information beforehand. Secondly, we both love fresh coconut water and were a little surprised that it was not readily available during our stay. In other Maldivian 5* resorts we have visited, coconut water was commonly offered at breakfast and on the beverage menus. Having it available would be a lovely addition, especially in such a beautiful tropical paradise. Overall, these are only small points compared with how much we enjoyed our stay. We left Dusit Thani with wonderful memories, especially of the beautiful marine life, the incredible surroundings, and the warm hospitality of the team. This place is pretty much perfect. Excellent service, fantastic snorkeling and a beautiful white-sand beach. You barely see any other guests except at breakfast — which is something I’ve always loved about Dusit hotels. My best stay in the Maldives so far. A big thumbs-up to Danil, our butler, who made our stay even more enjoyable!

I have just spent eight wonderful days at the Dusit Thani Maldives, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the scenic seaplane arrival and the personal welcome by the General Manager, to the high-touch service provided by my butler and the outstanding food throughout my stay, everything contributed to a memorable time. I stayed in an Overwater Pool Villa and can highly recommend this category. The villas offer excellent privacy, direct reef access, and have been recently renovated, leaving them in pristine condition. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linen was among the best I have experienced in any hotel. Housekeeping was outstanding. The team kept the villa immaculate and timed both daily service and turndown perfectly while I was out on activities. The island itself is truly magical. Everything is beautifully landscaped, feels authentic and considered. I tried in-villa dining, Sea Grill, and the Thai restaurant Benjarong, and every meal was excellent. Be sure to try the Lobster Thermidor at Sea Grill. Service across all venues was warm, engaging, and attentive. During my stay I enjoyed daily spa treatments, and the therapists delivered exceptional massages and therapies. The only small observation I would make is that the treatment rooms, beautifully located in little tree houses, felt a little tired and could benefit from a cosmetic refresh. I understand the hotel is currently undertaking upgrades, so I am confident this area will be addressed in due course. A special thank you goes to my butler, Saleem, who was exceptional. He was always there when I needed him and discreetly invisible when I wanted privacy. Thank you, Saleem, for making my stay so seamless and comfortable. You are a true asset to the hotel. Equally special thanks to Rose at the Ocean Dive Centre. Rose was an outstanding instructor who took me on 18 dives, including my first night dive. I could not have asked for a better dive buddy. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute underwater exploring the wonders of Baa Atoll. I would have no hesitation recommending this beautiful resort to anyone seeking a serene and relaxing escape, to divers looking for outstanding dive sites, or to couples in search of a romantic getaway. It was an awesome experience to stay and enjoy the hospitality of the resort.. There are many staff members with whom we met and they have assisted us in nice way... We would like to give thanks to Mr Anas, Chef Mohan, Anil Verma from F&B, Ms Mona from Sales Team, Ms Pevini from Reservations, Rifaa Mam and many more as list is long as their staff greets and assisted us in such a nice way that we really loved their hospitality..
