Bringing the renowned hospitality and Asian aesthetics of Thailand to the cerulean waters of the Indian Ocean, Dusit Thani Maldives is an unparalleled Maldives experience. Occupying the verdant tropical lands and reef-lined lagoon waters of Mudhdhoo Island, the resort is a 35-minute seaplane ride from the capital Malé or 10-minute speedboat trip from Baa Atoll. Just under 100 incredible villas and guest residences - none less than 1,300 square feet in size - offer exquisite accommodations and modern amenities, from the sandy beachfront to overwater builds. Thai touches blend with Maldivian architecture to create sanctuaries unlike any other you have seen, complete with dedicated butler and twice daily housekeeping. The sublime villas include private plunge pool, outdoor decks, and outdoor showers - and inside spaces feature LCD televisions with satellite entertainment, complimentary wireless Internet access, espresso makers, wine chillers, and unlimited bottled drinking water. Should you yearn for some additional pampering and sensory indulgence, the resort's world class Devarana Spa is a heavenly haven awaiting your arrival. Deluxe treatment pods are elevated among the island's coconut palms, offering services ranging from traditional Thai massage to exfoliating scrubs, aloe body wraps, and aromatic beauty treatments. Paradise is everywhere, at Dusit Thani.

An absolutely delightful stay. Booked the night before due to flight changes, and received nothing but the very best customer service and hospitality from the start. The team scrambled to ensure the sea plane flights were arranged last minute, and at no point was there a gap in communication. The room (waterfront villa) was exactly as pictured, clean, and had a spectacular view. Every little detail was thought of. The staff go out of their way to make your experience special and make the place feel like home. In my decades of luxury travel around Asia, Africa and Europe, I have never experienced such a cohesive and professional level of hospitality. I struggle to envision how they could improve in any regard. Danil was fantastic, he reads and responds to messages within a minute of sending them. Thanks to him the vacation was completely stress free. Also shout out to Prabath at the Sand Bar for going out of his way to help me photograph the bats by the pool, even calling over to the other restaurant to get me a table with the best view. And Amilla at Sala for ensuring we could still get lunch after rushing out to the whale sharks. Overall, one of the very best vacations we’ve ever had and it’s entirely down to the fantastic staff, property, and amenities at Dusit. Absolutely loved the Thai restaurant and (though we aren’t vegan) the vegan restaurant Sala. Having a healthy option that provided creative, delicious and elevated dishes was remarkable and unique. The reef was recently voted best in the Maldives and it shows! We snorkeled for hours every day and the diversity of marine life was unparalleled. Our only wishes that they would stock reef safe sunscreen in the local store. Would be a shame to see that reef decline like what is happening in the rest of the world.

We loved our stay at Dusit Thani Maldives. The spot is fantastic for the ray mantas in August and we were lucky to see hundreds. Our water villa nb 203 was perfectly located for the sunset. Bungalows are amazing and our house keeper Hamid took Care of us with Lovely attention, and a great respect for our rythm . Our butter Muhay was also very carefull to satisfy our expectations and I would like to focus et recommand our waiter Gaby, who enlightened our stay with his smile and Lovely cares. But everybody that we met was so kind ! We loved the Thaï restaurant Benjarong and spent every lunch there. The buffets at the main restaurant at night were also great with many choices and delicious meals everyday. Fantastic seafood. And a precial congratulation for the Chief in charge of the lemon meringue tart ( excellent ). The possibility to use the bike was fun and the végétation in the island is the most amazing that I ve ever seen in Maldives. Orchids on très are beautiful. Congrats to the gardeners also (because it must be a regular and huge work to take Care of all the Island) Our only suggestion of improvement would be to add a sort of sun Shelter canopy ( in French « un haut vent » ) to protect the terrasse from the sun. A single ombrella is a Little bit tiny sometimes. We highly recommend this island. Congratulations to Jean-Louis for this amazing place very well managed ! We would love to Come back

We spent 11 nights in the Dusit Thani Maldives with our 3 kids and had a fantastic and unforgettable time! The island is beautiful, the reef the best we have ever seen in the Maldives and all facilities are very well maintained and stunning. We loved our 2 bedroom family villa and thanks to Ali from housekeeping everything was perfect every day. This leads me to the most important point: The whole team of Dusit Thani is oustanding! Special thanks to Anas our Villa-butler and Mahjeed who looked after us at The Market restaurant st breakfast and most dinners. They took very well care of us and made a huge difference! Also special thanks to the whole F&B team and everybody who made our stay so special! Last but not least this is the best point to spot mantas and whale sharks :-)

We spent almost a week at this hotel and our vacation was truly unforgettable! The grounds are impeccably clean and enveloped in lush tropical greenery, creating a wonderful sense of privacy and seclusion. The dining experience deserves special praise -the breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were absolutely outstanding. The resort offers a huge variety of water activities to suit every taste, and the genuine care and effort of the staff can be felt in every detail. However, the absolute highlight of the island is the magnificent house reef-easily one of the best we have ever explored. This was our seventh trip to the Maldives, so we certainly have a high standard to compare it to. A huge, special thank you goes to our wonderful butler, Danil! He is the reason our stay was completely effortless and carefree. Danil was incredibly attentive to every little detail, instantly fulfilled all our requests, and even went above and beyond by finding and returning valuable items we had accidentally left in our room after we had already departed the island. This resort is the epitome of the perfect, authentic Maldivian getaway.
