Dusit Thani Maldives

We had a great time at Dusit, good view and the peaceful is what we really appreciate, all the staff show us a warm welcome, butler Ajaa deal all the problems for us and handle all our stuff in good hands, thank you Ajaa; we really want to thank another staff at SeaGrill, but sadly we can't remember her name, she done her shift during 12th Jan ~ 16th Jan as front-desk(who will ask us the signature and room number after the meal), she spread her enthusiasm and warm welcome to us and we really like her smile.

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful resort. The island is beautiful, lush and relaxed. We were told it used to be a coconut plantation, so it is very green, spacious and well maintained. Every room has bicycles available to get around. This mad exploring the island easy and joyful. There is a fabulous house reef goes around the island and it's truly stunning, with some of the best snorkelling. We saw sharks, turtles, eagle rays and colourful fish and corals. And it was easily accessed from our waterfront villa. The food was delicious, especially the Thai restaurant and the all inclusive was worth every penny. You could choose a starter, main and desert from the a la carte menu, so there was plenty of choice and it being a Thai chain, the food was authentic and varied. The wine selection on the a la carte was very varied too, with a choice from about 20 wines by the glass, including champagne. Our butler, Muhey, made our stay feel very special, by responding to our request in a friendly and very timely manner. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was seamless, for example by changing my youngest son's bicycle numerous times until we found the perfect fit for him. It made a huge difference to our stay, and we really appreciated the time he spent and the way he communicated with us. He was so responsive and helpful. All in all, we enjoyed the good, old fashioned luxury. Relaxed, barefoot, elegant, with a focus on service and food. The private outdoor cinema, manta snorkelling and nightime snorkelling were some of the highlights the kids will never forget. We loved everything about our stay and hope to come back very soon. NB: we have been to 3other resorts in the Maldives (Six Senses Laamu, W, NH.Collection Reethi), and this was our favourite. It also offerns very good value for money.

Our family had an absolutely unforgettable time at Dusit Thani Maldives. From the island’s infrastructure and ecological preservation to its impeccable service, every aspect was sheer perfection. Our butler Ajaa was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and helped us secure a wonderful room. We sincerely hope to have the chance to come back and vacation here again in the future.

Incredibly relaxing and enjoyable stay at Dusit Thani. We spent Christmas and New year there with our 12 and 9 year old. Having booked the CIP service from the airport , our arrival was smooth and stress- free. The hotel lounge at the seaplane terminal was well stocked and well staffed- great way to start the trip. From the moment we landed on the island staff were friendly and helpful. Their kindness felt genuine and every staff member we interacted with was an absolute credit to the hotel. Sea grill has a fabulous team and great food. We were all inclusive and there was plenty of options of great food for us and the children- I’m vegan and the team offered to amend menu items to suit me. Sala, the vegan restaurant was exceptional- the chef is incredibly talented. Even my meat- eating family agreed the food was delicious. We don’t really use the buffet restaurant other than breakfast but again food option and cleanliness were excellent. We stayed in a two bed water villa. The views were incredible with direct access to the sea for snorkelling and swimming. Well appointed with comfortable Beds and all amenities. Our butler Anas was wonderful. Great communication, friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much bother- a real asset to the hotel and the brand. Staff members such Faisal, Ravesesha at seagril and the waiting staff at Sala were all amazing. The staff are all genuinely amazing at their jobs and their customer service is some of the best we have encountered in our many travels around the world. We are already preparing to return at the end of this year. Can’t recommend highly enough. The island is the perfect mix of unspoilt nature and luxury. Lots of activities to dip into and the bikes supplied allow you to explore the island at your leisure .
