Anantara Mui Ne Resort in Mui Ne, Vietnam
It’s a journey in itself to get to Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa, but that’s part of the reason it’s so rewarding. Four hours from Ho Chi Minh City, Mui Ne is a rare unspoiled beach destination that’s popular with kite surfers and visitors who prize solitude. Ten miles of sand front Anantara’s fragrant gardens, and just beyond town are the monolithic White Dunes, where a hike to a lotus-filled lake oasis is unforgettable.
Stretch out in your spacious villa against a canopy of bougainvillea, inhaling a breeze tinged with jasmine. Take a morning swim in your pool. Walk down to Mui Ne’s quaint, traditional fishing port to watch the fisherman hawk their wares. Dine on salt-steamed sea crab and a bottle of Viognier from the wine cellar while looking out at the starlit beach.

Reviews for Anantara Mui Ne Resort
I spent 4 nights in this beautiful resort, the genuine hospitality of all the staff, the beautiful spacious room and great food & service. I thank all the staff for giving me an unforgettable holiday. I highly recommend this resort!!!
Wonderful place to stay, easy access to Phan Thiet, After a visit to Saigon we wanted a beach resort for a relaxation period. The Anantara fitted the bill, fantastic and would love to go again next time in the area

I absolutely loved this hotel. It w as far from Ho Chi Minh City, but it was worth coming. The beach is right there where you can enjoy the sunrise, swimming, and other activities. The swimming pool a as very nice too. The SPA is very beautiful and offers varieties of treatments. Coconut oil cooking demo in the restaurant was very interesting. The hotel is located on the busy street with lots of seafood restaurants, cool bars and souvenir shops. Can't wait to go back again!!
This is a five star hotel; beautiful grounds, good food, great rooms and fabulous staff. We enjoyed 9 nights here and would highly recommend a stay. Definitely planning to return. We found the personal service at this hotel excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, helpful and friendly. The customer service we received was amongst some of the best we have had any where in the world. Added to this we had a beautiful room which was well serviced twice a day. These features along with the lovely grounds and very nice beach made for a great stay.

My husband and I have just returning from 4 days at the end of a two week trip around Vietnam and Cambodia and in Mui Ne this is the place to stay. Highlights Customer service - definitely the highest level of service we experienced on our trip everyone at the hotel is helpful, efficient and professional from dong and the team running the pool bar, to the team at breakfast and the reception staff all lovely and make you feel very welcome. Also management clearly visible making sure everything runs smoothly. The pool - the shape and setting of the is beautiful the layout is very will designed providing lovely views with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas (people seem to reserve beds in the morning but when the wind picks up around midday lots of people seem to leave the pool and head to their villas) we had no issue getting a subbed on any day and there were still beds avail at 10.00/10.30 most days either by the pool, on the beanbag seats or on the beach. Plus there is a swim up bar and all around the pool you get a lovely breeze from the sea. The rooms - we had an ocean view suite very spacious, plenty of storage, well equipped and huge very comfy bed, sea view is better as you are not overlooking the road and the large balconies get the morning sun. Also the pool villas look great if you can afford them go for them. Beach - the beach is clean and easy to access from the hotel plus you can look out onto the beach from the pool and watch all of the kite surfers or take a stroll. Gardens - beautifully maintained Breakfast - lovely setting take a table outside in the shade very relaxing, good breakfast options and very friendly and efficient staff. Onto the only slight negatives Restaurant food and drink - is very good quality but very expensive and as a result not many people stay in the hotel for dinner. The prices are top end for Vietnam over £100 for two courses, wine and service. the food is good but it’s difficult to justify more than one or two meals during your stay. Outside the hotel in the food court we managed to get two meals and a drink each for less than the cost of one glass of wine) the wine is good quality and We enjoyed our meal very much in the thug restaurant (I had prawns and sea bass my husband a Camembert and aubergine starter and rib eye steak) again great service (the chef even provided my husband with a detailed recipe as he enjoyed is starter so much) but there were only 2 other couples in the whole restaurant - please reduce your prices and I’m sure the restaurants will be much busier and provide a better atmosphere for guests. Every night they do have a special meal offer and vs the menu they look to be good value so check them out on arrival (all days were printed in our lift) but we did not try so can’t comment. Location in Mui Ne - the hotel is located on the main road (as are all hotels) so there is some traffic noise (but it did not disturb us) also the town has a high number of Russian tourists and a very long road full of bars restaurants and shops. the restaurants, shops and bars outside the hotel are targeted at the Russian tourists. I would recommend if you are not Russian taking a taxi a little further along the Main Street to find alternative options (taxis are very cheep and easy to find.) Sea - the sea is more suited to surfing than swimming and there are many kite surfers which are fantastic to watch but make swimming a little hazardous. If you enjoy swimming prob the safest time is in the morning before the wind picks up and at sunset but it’s only for strong swimmers the waves and current are strong.
