The Leela Mumbai

We stayed in The Leela Hotel for six nights and one extra night due to over flight was cancelled. Hotel location is just next to international Airport T2 which is very convenient for international travellers. Very warm welcoming by entire hotel staffs. Secure gate and very nice garden with lots of greenery. Easy check in and check out. Food was very nice and lots of choices for vegetarian during breakfast. Specially Mr. Ravi was excellent staff who specially came for us to provide us early breakfast beforeseven a.m. Dining in speciality restaurant Mr . Santosh and his entire staff was excellent. Very soothing excellent music which we enjoyed a lot. I wish they play more selected music everyday instead of playing same every day. Piano player in lounge was brilliant and he played few selected songs for me on piano. We enjoyed our stay throughout and will definitely will stay in this hotel for during our next visit. Check in and check out was very smooth and it was easy to do final hotel payment over on line through IFSC code provided to us by hotel. Communication before arrival was brillint and very quick.

"The Leela Mumbai" offers more than you ever would expect : warm hospitality, nice interior, professional informations, quiet and very clean rooms. The lush garden with the swimming pool is a place to be and relax. The breakfast buffet offers many dishes, too many. I could not try out all. The croissants and the cappuccino were top. The meals à la carte and the snacks are definitely overpriced and some could be improved.

Perfect hotel with imperfect services . It hopelessly falls short of the huge brand equity they carry. Choose wisely !!

This was the perfect place to recover after 24 hours of traveling. The service from each staff member we encountered was superb. The breakfast buffet has such variety as to appeal to everyone’s tastes. The grounds and pool area provide a special place to relax. Couldn’t have been happier to choose the Leela as our first stop on our way to Mumbai.

Hotel still good! Services ok but breakfast total system is pathetic! Food quality staff behaviours sitting arrangements,area for waiting! It was continuously 2nd day I came out without completing breakfast… courtesy trainees too! Can’t listen simple order of Dosa, can’t bring what you order to whom on table to serve and on repeated asking sambhar never came hot, dosa camp in 15 minutes that too different and on first day, on agreeing to share the table dosa ordered 15 minutes before, served to other guy! Asked to served good new Vada to chef directly as old were not good, it never came!How a hotel of repute of Leela can be so irresponsible and ignorant to their guests! Save your name or..!
