Request a room with an ocean view. Otherwise all perfect at the hotel. The staff is great. the food is very good. the bar is worth visiting. A definite hotel to stay for business and personal reasons if you are in South Mumbai.

One of the best hotels in Mumbai. Right at Nariman Point. Most of the rooms have a sea view (if not bang opposite). Although breakfast was good, the Indian dishes served in dinner was quite blah !! However thats what i feel in any 5-star hotel. Maybe they are tailored to suit foreign customers who cant eat spicy. The pool is amazing. Loved the hospitality

Spoilt for choice at breakfast. What made the hotel that extra bit special was the hospitality! Truly outstanding- the staff at the hotel were able to preempt what we needed before we even knew we needed it! Theh watched us from afar and knew when we needed assistance. The waiter remembered our individual breakfast from the day before despite serving another 100 people that day. The evening drinks package was very good (better than the one at The Ritz), as the snacks were very nice and a great variety of drinks and cocktails. Beautiful rooms- made good use out of the television whilst soaking in the tub. The 'butler' button was a nice touch and was utilised when choosing from the 'pillow menu'. Will definitely returning here when I next come to Bombay.

A very international property with an Indian touch of hospitality. Ziya restaurant is a must visit. The best food in town.I strongly recommend the hotel both for business as well as for leisure travel.

First time here at the Oberoi. When in Mumbai I normally stay at the Taj Lands End, Trident BKC, or Westin Garden City. All of which are more convenient for the airport and for the BKC where I tend to be on business. However... the Oberoi has a lovely view across the bay - very dramatic - especially in the monsoon. It is an upscale hotel but it's decor is a little tired. I wouldn't recommend for anyone nervous of heights as (just like many other hotels) there's an open atrium in the centre of the building but the railings on the accommodation floors are not especially high. Nice hotel. Nice restaurants. But probably not ideal for me.
