Stayed two nights, then booked another five nights after a side trip to Zurich. We had a junior suite. All the rooms are different. When we drove up the first time, on a gray day, we weren't so sure, but the hotel, rooms, service, staff all were wonderful. A very nice hotel to return to after a long day of sight seeing. Delightful and relaxing. Wifi was solid, though for some reason you had to sign in each day.

No!! But a nice location friendly staff accommodation not five star standard nor is the service. However all was pleasant in a small hotel I was surprised that they never recognized me by name or room number. Came back about 12.30 AM hotel lobby was open and no member of staff so anyone could have walked in and used the elevator, not very professional!! I was given a late check out with out a problem for which I was most grateful.

We stayed three nights here in a standard double room. The room was tastefully decorated and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small relative to the size of the room. The room was quiet despite facing the road. Breakfast was very nice. There is a spa area which is very modern and relaxing. The winter garden is a nice outdoor terrace. The staff here are excellent. They were the most professional and friendly staff that I have encountered in a hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Munich.

Ours was a beautiful room with elegant decor, thoughtfully designed, solid and quiet, looking out on a peaceful green garden. This is a small hotel with many lovely, understated touches (paneling in the bar, for example, is gorgeous). The small garden is a lovely place. The service is first class, friendly and helpful. For example, while talking with the hotel about another matter in advance of our visit, the representative noticed that I had ordered flowers for the room and spontaneously asked what I had in mind. I described something non-standard, and the flowers turned out perfectly. The hotel location is great, near biking/running trails, the river and the English Garden, less than 15 minute bike ride (free good bikes) to the major museums and the center of Munich. We would return in a second!
