Reviews for Hotel Munchen Palace
The staff at Hotel Muenchen Palace were very helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Our family spent 2 weeks overseas in different countries and by far, this was the best hotel and staff that we experienced. The hotel is located a short distance from the nearest U-Bahn station, which made it easy for travel. The breakfast was pricy for our taste, but overall our stay was enjoyable and we would stay again.

I travel a lot and am rarely impressed with a hotel these days but this hotel exceeded my expectations and some. The services was first class. The rooms were beautifully appointed. Everything was VERY CLEAN. I ordered room service a few times and thought the food was very good but wish there were a few more healthy options for breakfast, like oatmeal, and dinner. The steam room and sauna were also very nice and clean. Location was great. Not in the city center but a 10 min taxi ride from pretty much anywhere you would like to go in the center of Munich and just a 10 min walk from the Haus der Kunst, which is a must see imo. Overall, one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at.

The hotel was very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had dinner there one night and it was excellent. We started with a French Merlot and just enjoyed the surroundings. The cost was reasonable given the quality of the food served. One negative is location. The hotel is somewhat distant to the center city. We walked it and it took us about 40 minutes.
The hotel was great, service was top notch and the room was very nice. My husband especially enjoyed the pretzel cookie that was left at turndown. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather during our stay, so the walk into the center would have been too long. We followed the front desk's instructions and took the bus- quick and easy!

Stayed twice this month in room 054 and 154 - far from inexpensive options. At this price I thought breakfast would be included like in most German hotels but it was Eur33 per person extra. Worst still was that there was no Al La Carte option so you had to have the Eur33 buffet or nothing. My wife eats has little at breakfast time so this was a poor value choice for us. If you can wait for breakfast until 9:30am there is a stunning shop called Kafer just across the main road from the hotel with a restaurant, a bistro, and the best food and wine you ever saw. We just ordered coffee on room service (Eur13.90) and went to Kafer later. If you want a hotel surrounded by shops and cafes etc this isn't a good choice. But it is close to the English garden which is a beautiful and gigantic park. Sadly the hotel's internet service is one of those frustrating ones where you have to keep re-logging in by entering your name and room number at least once each day.
