Reviews for Hotel Munchen Palace
We stayed for three nights and the hotel ticked all the boxes: quiet, central, luxurious... The staff could not be more helpful and the food and service exceptional. Our room faced the garden courtyard and was very quiet and a good choice. It is a one minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to Odeon Place in about 8 minutes (bus number 100) which has a tube station right there.

Munchen Palace Hotel It is the little things.... Loved our stay at the Munchen Palace. We were in rooms 105 and 108. Both have views of the main street but we heard no road noise. Room 108 is at the end of the hall and was slightly larger but both were a good size. Room 105 had a bath and clothes line in the bath. Room 108 had a shower. The room design in both was well done, with plenty of cupboard space even for those that don't travel light, like us. The cupboards had plenty of shelves for children's clothing. There was even a cupboard that could lock for your valuables that are larger than a safe. I would consider this a boutique hotel. It is the little extras that made it exceptional. Where to start? Slippers of more than one size, pillow menu, extra blankets, complimentary mini bar refilled daily, complimentary water, lollies delivered in the evening for our daughter, a small book for our daughter, flowers everywhere and live flowering plants in the rooms, good bathroom amenities (with a large conditioner) , daily weather card delivered to your room, extra table with shelving in the bathroom for all your toiletries etc, 'rubber ducky' (frog) in the bathroom for kids...... Beautiful restaurant with small courtyard deck and winter garden , green roof on the mezzanine floor. We had dinner at the restaurant and we all really enjoyed our meals. For those with little ones: excellent black out curtains, rooms quiet, quietly closing doors, and none of those annoying little lights on the electrical gear that keep little ones from sleeping. Great and very helpful staff. Super location - 5 minutes on bus to Marienplatz. Would definitely stay again.

Great, friendly staff with newly renovated rooms and excellent spa. Lovely outdoor terraces for breakfast and dining. Good restaurants nearby in great residential area and easy walk to sights in the old town.

The Munich Palace hotel is a fantastic little gem in the heart of Bogenhausen, close to the Munich city center. Especially after the renovations this year, it really is the perfect boutique hotel. Rooms a big and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The only criticism I have is the breakfast. €33 is far too high for the selection on offer and the staff aren’t exactly a ray of sunshine either. I will of course return- but have my breakfast around the corner.

Friends, let me tell you the one thing that should matter most about any hotel stay to you anywhere: how much the staff cares about the hotel and you. I found the Palace to be just that because the staff treated it like home and me like I was a guest in their home. I have never been so happy staying in a hotel. From check-in to check-out, they understood what I needed without me having to ask. The staff member not only took care of my paperwork, she escorted me to my room and reviewed the amenities there. And the room was fantastic. Not only did they do an excellent job designing and decorating the space, the bed was comfortable...and that is saying something for hotel beds in Germany! Highlights: I ate dinner twice in the hotel bar, which was an excellent decision not only for the comfortable perch I found in the back corner (I like to be able to see everything) but the excellent service by their bartender, Mr. Buchholtz and his staff. The menu in general was excellent. They offer a breakfast service in the mornings that you will enjoy immensely. More highlights: If you need to get anywhere in Munich: the tram picks up around the corner and the subway is down the block. You are minutes away from the center of old Munich.
