Stayed at this hotel for the first time on a recent family trip to Munich. It's located on a quiet street within easy walking (20 mins) or tram/cab (5-10 mins) distance from downtown. Rooms were well-appointed, clean and had A/C. The hallways were a bit sterile, which might be a function of the fact that the building is newer than the traditional décor of the rooms suggests. Downstairs are a small but cozy bar and a nice breakfast room. Breakfast (included in our rate, but well worth paying for if not) was outstanding and months later our children are still praising it. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite hotel in Munich. I occasionally try another just to see if they offer me something better but always come back to Hotel Muenchen Palace. The staff is very good, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is delicious. It is a short taxi to the center of town and across the street is a wonderful gourmet deli and restaurant. I love this hotel.

This is a classy hotel from top to bottom. The front desk staff set the stage for a wonderful experience. We had a superb room that overlooked the courtyard. Be sure to specific if you want a nonsmoking room although there didn't seem to be anyone smoking anywhere. There is noise in the morning from adjacent contraction sites but luckily we arrived on a Saturday so the weekend mornings were quiet. The room was well-appointed and the bed was ah, very sleepable! The minibar is stocked with a few beverages daily which contributes to the class act. There is an elegant grocery/gourmet store, Kafer's, directly across the street which we frequented daily. We hope to return next year to enjoy the elegance and comfort of Hotel Muenchen Palace.

Normally I start a review with the positives and then move on to any irritating negatives. However, this hotel was unbelievably perfect, not one negative springs to mind. The staff were ALL incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us whether it be with their free bikes or, advice on the usual tourist queries. The rooms (we moved to a room with a bath on the second night) were lovely, the breakfast feast was devine, the service superb. I've quite run out of superlatives to describe this establishment. Will definitely return.

Fabulous boutique style hotel with each room being a little different. In a quaint location with bicycles to borrow out front. Staff called us by name every day and helped us set up a few tours and found a cheaper way to the airport when we were leaving. Clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Cool outdoor patio area and a roof top patio which were so relaxing. At night, beds were turned down, treat was left and a "place mat" was left on the side of bed for your feet in the morning. We only had one breakfast there and thought it was expensive. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Be careful of designated bike lanes- serious bikers get angry if you are walking in it.
