We have just come back from our 2nd holiday to the Grand Hyatt La Manga and once again, we had a fantastic time. The hotel is always so clean and all the staff are consistently welcoming and gracious. Breakfast is so lovely - both the choice and quality of food and the excellent service. The Lounge is such a nice touch too and a great place in which to spend some quiet time when needed. The tapas in the afternoon was delicious and special thanks to Rosa who always looked after us. The golf courses were in great condition and the staff in the Pro Shop are really helpful and friendly. Special thanks goes to Jose and Vanessa on Reception who were always on hand to help with anything we needed and always went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and looking forward to revisiting very soon!

Stayed at the Hyatt in October with my husband and our two small children (9yrs and 7 months) as part of a wider group on a golf trip. What a beautiful hotel! It is immaculately clean and the grounds are pristine. The welcome to our group was lovely. We had a spacious modern room (141) overlooking the pool. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The cot set up for our baby was perfect. The showers were hot. The room was quiet. My husband is disabled and the staff were amazing in making sure we were happy the room and its location suited our needs which it did and so helpful when we ran in to any difficulties. Breakfast was amazing in a gorgeous setting! The spa was also fantastic. We only stayed for 5 days but would love to return. Outside of the hotel there are nice local restaurants plus a tennis and padel club nearby. I have it on good authority the hotel golf at La Manga was amazing. The hotel staff were all incredible and extremely helpful. Huge thanks to all the staff at reception, concierge, housekeeping and in the restaurants. Special shout out to Paloma on reception who was just wonderful, kind and so helpful to my family. Thank you so much.

Honestly, this was the worst 5-star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. What a total disappointment. The place feels old and run-down — its best days are long gone. The pool water is freezing, so cold you can’t even get in. And the flies… there are so many it’s impossible to relax. You can’t sunbathe or eat without constantly waving them away. It completely ruins the experience. To make things worse, we even found a cockroach in the bathroom. In a so-called 5-star hotel — absolutely disgusting. The service isn’t any better. We paid around €500 a night and had the half-board option (breakfast and dinner). No one told us that dinner needs to be booked in advance — we only found out when there were no spots left. They also don’t restock water in the rooms, and when we asked, they said it wasn’t “included in our rate.” For €500 a night, that’s ridiculous. Access to the indoor pool and spa is limited, which we only found out after checking in. And apparently, kids are only allowed there between 2–4 PM — also never mentioned anywhere before. So unless your kids enjoy swimming in an ice-cold pool outside, they’re stuck. At the hotel’s Steak & Grill restaurant, we waited 30 minutes just to get the menu. Unacceptable. The only good things: the breakfast was nice and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. But that’s about it. Overall, terrible value for money. This hotel doesn’t meet Hyatt standards or any real 5-star expectations. Feels more like a scam — overpriced, poorly managed, and trying to squeeze every extra euro from guests. Would not recommend to anyone.

Another great stay at the La Manga club resort. Great staff, facilities very good with the golf courses improving year after year.

I would like to thank all the staff at the Gran Hyatt Golf Resort in La Manga Murcia for making our golf break unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the last minute of our stay they were helpful, friendly and met all our requirements-and there were many as in our group of 12, five members had Parkinson’s- with a smile. The food in the restaurants was superb, especially the Sushi, the breakfast was fantastic. The Spa was the best I have visited, my husband had a massage that got rid of all his pains. The location is beautiful and the golf courses sublime. I can’t praise it highly enough and can’t wait to return.
