Ostraco Suites is by far more than just a hotel. Ostraco Suites is an experience that you must have when visiting Mykonos. It is obvious that the country is gorgeous and the island is magnificent, however what makes this experience, is the staff at Ostraco. The staff exceeds the definition of "going over and beyond". Spiros, Lena, Tomas, Simos, Celia, Leo, Nikos, Adrian, and everyone else behind the scenes were very attentive, friendly and helpful. I was fortunate to spend my birthday in beautiful Greece which the staff again went to lengths to help celebrate without being asked. The hotel, itself is beautiful, clean and luxurious. It is a ten minute walk to go into Mykonos town which is very easy and safe to do. We stayed there for 2 nights and left to go to Santorini however when we returned back to Mykonos we were sure we would stay at Ostraco again and we did. I will definitely be visiting again and staying at Ostraco without a doubt and highly recommend it for everyone else.

Wonderful intimate hotel with attentive staff, always happy to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. When the wifi didn't work in our room, they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite with working wifi! Private balcony was a great bonus for witnessing the legendary Mykonos sunsets. The pool was small but got great sunlight and everyone was able to find a lounge chair. Daily breakfast was fresh and delicious... loved the honey. 100% would go back again.

What makes this hotel great is mainly the staff and the chef. Yes, the hotel is clean and good location. Though the staff is absolutely AMAZING; super friendly accompanied by a really good head chef. I had their Greek Salad and Lamb Chops almost everyday and this coming from a person that never eats hotel food!!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the airport and about a 10/15 minute walk to the town centre. I hired a car for a few days (organised via the hotel) and was able to get to all the beaches I wanted to go to quite quickly. Fokos beach is quite hard to get to without a car, but is worth it, but the road is winding and steep in places. Mykonos is quite a small island so it is easy to get around. I used the bus on one occasion (for Paranga beach) and the bus stop is not far from the hotel. Also, Ornos beach is lovely and worth a visit, it is walkable from the hotel if you are up for a 30 minute walk.. The best thing about Ostraco was the staff ! they were all extremely friendly, helpful and professional, being a solo traveler on this occasion it made a big difference having great staff at reception and in the restaurant. Mykonos seems to be very expensive for hotels in general, I cant say it was cheap at Ostraco, but it was reasonable in comparison to other places. I went near the end of season, late September and it was still good weather, but I would not go any later in the year. The beaches I visited and recommend are: Fokos - beautiful, not to busy Panormos - dont recomend the restaurant on the beach Agios Sostis - lovely Parunga - great restaurant on beach and scorpio Lia - lovely big beach , not too busy. only one main big restaurant, there is a smaller one out back. Ornos - wonderful beach , quite a few restaurants I love snorkelling and was able to do it all those beaches.. In short, Ostraco is not a 5 star, not sure if it is 4 star, but it is lovely , boutique type experience, probably good value for Mykonos.. I had a great experience with the staff.
