Santa Marina hotel is truly a great location for anyone looking to visit Mykonos in style. Our room had an amazing view at Ornos beach, the service was of high standards and the proximity to the town of Mykonos was a big plus for our nights out in town. On top of all, the hotel's private beach was ideal in order to relax and avoid coping with the hordes of people found in the popular beaches. I would also highly recommend trying out Buddha Bar, located IN the hotel, right on the beachfront (reservation only) - we had dinner twice there and it was simply extraordinary (do try the black cod & the shrimp pad thai). Looking forward to returning next year!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Santa Marina. We traveled with our 2 teenagers and was upgraded to the Crystal Villa which was lovely. It had it's own pool and a beautiful view of Ornos Bay and the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! The only reason I deducted half a star is for a few things. This was our fourth time to Mykonos but our first time staying here. Like I said, it was a beautiful resort and they're striving to be the Four Seasons of Mykonos but they fall a little short. They're a little too inconsistent. Housekeeping would forget to leave beach towels for the pool & our butler, who was overall wonderful, forgot to leave some beverages we asked for so we were forced to call for these. At breakfast, we were lead to a table that only had 2 chairs so we had to stand there awkwardly while they asked people around us if they were using all their chairs. Strange but not a huge deal and it didn't ruin our trip, just kind of annoying for a place that's charging top dollar. All the food was delicious, especially the buffet breakfast and the Buddha Bar. The beach was very nice but the pretentious of the hotel guests and the occupants of the yachts that come ashore and use the facilities could be a bit much. One afternoon we had to wait 10 minutes for our check because the son of one of the yacht owners was complaining that his beer didn't have the same label from the day before. The poor server was running back and forth to prove to the guy that it was the exact same beer. Not the fault of the hotel staff who were always helpful and competent but just an indication of what you might deal with at this resort. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Mykonos who want a first class experience albeit with a first class price tag.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay at Santa Marina. It is tucked away, on the sea, out of the frenzy of Mykonos Town. Hotel is gorgeous, staff superb and the ocean swimming and access to the sea phenomenal. They arranged water taxis to our favorite spots and the hotel had a shuttle into town which made transfers much easier. Buddah Bar adds a nice diversion, Ornos Bay restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Had a wonderful experience.

we visited the hotel after dinner at Buddha Bar, The location, view, design, lighting and layout was stunning. There were so many photo opportunities. The site is secure and behind a security gate which was manned. The ultimate hideaway after a private villa - which could be cheaper - in Mykonos

Perfect setting and incredible service! Stayed 3 nights in a villa (ruby) on resort property. Absolutely phenomenal Accomodations, from bedding to climate control to cleanliness to service. Oh, service. By staying in villa you have a butler, who is committed to making sure every need is attended to (from cabs, to boats, to restaurants, to cocktails, to beach chairs etc). Food was also fabulous---breakfast daily (best buffet ever), and Buddha bar. So, while the Accomodations and the setting are amazing, what puts this place over the top is Maria the concierge who graciously helped planned everything, ensuring the best tour guides, boats, restaurants ---and made it all effortless. She is the finest concierge I have ever worked with. A consummate professional! We can't wait to go back. AMAZING VACATION!
