Location was good and staff was helpful. The 5-6pm reception was good. That is why it got 3. Breakfast was very disappointing for a B&B. Expected cheese quich or French toast. We got salmon quiche (gross), next day a hard waffle. Our room was very noisy by the street.

We stayed 3 nights and had a great stay. We liked the charm of antique furnishings. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shops in town. They had nice breakfasts, cookies and soft drinks all day, and a complimentary wine hour from 5-6 pm. Martha, the assistant manager was awesome as she helped a with our queries and assisted to book a wine reservation for us. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with the niceties you would find at a small boutique hotel. We will stay there again next time we are in Napa, for sure!

Beware their cancellation policy, which is pretty unforgiving. We booked one night here and wanted to cancel because it was a cold rainy day and winery tours wouldn't be enjoyable at all. They were pretty happy to charge us the same cost as if we stayed. It seems like it would have been fair enough to charge us half or something, but to just take all our money for nothing really sucks. They still had three open rooms, so it wasn't like we were leaving the last empty at a full hotel.

Stayed here early July 2023, it is a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was great with drinks available during your stay. Complimentary wine and cheese were served daily. I would definitely recommend staying here.

If you are looking for a bed and breakfast to stay at while visiting Napa - look no further. The Blackbird Inn should be your go to place. The Blackbird Inn and its adjoining property is a warm, charming, and welcoming place. They serve a different homemade breakfast each morning, homemade cookies in the afternoon, and a wine, cheese and more Happy Hour between 5-6 pm. The friendly staff go beyond to make your stay comfortable. The location is just walking distance to downtown Napa where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and wine tasting places to explore. A big shoutout the amazing staff, Nicole and Martha. Scott, one of the owners we met is a hands-on owner who helps with the upkeep, maintenance, and beauty of the Inn. Also, they sometime have specials, which we were able to access one during our midweek stay. It is best to book directly with the Blackbird Inn to get the best prices and specials.
