Grand Hotel Parker's in Naples, Italy

The stunning façade of the Grand Hotel Parker's looks exactly as it might have 100 years ago, when it was first purchased by George Parker Bidder: elegant and stately alongside a busy Neapolitan street. Inside, Italy's past is proudly displayed in a private collection of artful masterpieces that embrace the history, culture, and tradition of Naples. Sophisticated, stylish décor fills the parquet-floored lobby and continues into the spacious rooms, palatial suites, and elegantly appointed common areas. Dark, bold furniture stands in calming contrast to the soft, neutral tones of the walls and linens, creating a romantic harmony in each living space. Rooms include air conditioning, heating, a safe, minibar, television, and curtains designed by local artisans that adorn windows framing dramatic views of the city or the sea.

Taste the best Naples has to offer without ever leaving the hotel. The delectable menu at George's will leave you saying "delicioso," while the city's first champagneria, Champagnery finds its home at Grand Hotel Parker's and delights taste buds with vibrant champagnes and brilliant appetizers. Bidder's Bar & Cigar Room on the 6th floor of the hotel boasts panoramic views of the city, and an established, yet relaxed vibe. Wellness Center Day Light, the hotel's spa and fitness center, re-opening on October 30, 2012, offers a comprehensive catalogue of spa services and the latest gym equipment to help guests revive their physical bodies and rejuvenate weary minds. Naples, home to the American Cup World Series event in 2012, and again in 2013 has its own exciting array of events and attractions, including the Royal Palace, San Severo's Chapel, and the National Archaeological Museum, all just minutes from the hotel. Grand Hotel Parker's includes everything that comes to mind when visualizing a European getaway: romance, fine wine, art, and incomparable luxury.

We spent five nights at the hotel after moving there from another hotel which wasn’t up to scratch. The staff were very warm and welcoming not just when we arrived but every morning. Our room overlooking the bay was well appointed with a large bathroom. It was a tad noisy with the window open. It’s also very easy to walk from the hotel to the funicular and then get the subway from the top of the hill into the city. Thoroughly recommended.

The hotel is grandly situated in hilly Naples. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. The public spaces are beautiful and my room had been nicely updated. My only disappointment was that the dining room atop the hotel was closed, so that I could not enjoy the fabulous views. (They told me it is being renovated.) The breakfast buffet is great and dinner was excellent (and in their ground floor dining room). Some guests may not like the fact that the hotel is a bit far from the central historical area, but cabs are plentiful.

Just returned here after a 4 day break. Don’t normally leave reviews but felt I should after our stay here. By far one of the best hotels we have stayed in, cannot fault the staff or excellent service received. Room was clean and today and had a lovely view over Naples. Was a little out of the way of things. But we actually preferred this, less noise and dirt! 10 min walk to metro or taxi €13 to old Naples. In all just a fantastic place to stay and if we return to Naples it will be to Hotel Parker’s

I simply can't recommend Grand Hotel Parker's enough. My girlfriend and I came to Naples for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We arrived at the hotel on Sunday morning to a lovely greeting from the doorman and Marco and Daniele on the front desk. We then gave the bold last minute request of acquiring tickets to see Napoli play that same day (the match was quite literally under 2 hours away). Within 30 minutes Marco had acquired our tickets and we were on our way. Thank you so much for this! It was such an incredible experience that wouldn't have been made possible without you. The rooms had been newly renovated and they exceeded every expectation we had when booking, far beyond the pictures currently provided on TripAdvisor. I can't emphasise how much the staff made our stay. They are friendly, approachable and entirely professional; especially those on the front desk and the doormen outside. Thank you so much for making our trip so special!

My husband and I spent 8 days in this magnificent hotel in March 2018. It was a real joy. The hotel is full of old worldly charm - high ceilings, bright and cheery with wonderful views over the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The breakfasts were amazing - more than enough to see you through the day until you wandered through the streets of Naples for dinner at night. Unless of course you were too tired exploring and just wanted to enjoy the pleasures of the hotel's new and excellent menu. The staff were extraordinary. They were always around. Reception was always attended by at least 2 members of staff so they were always available for any matters you might want to discuss with them. Each one took the trouble to get to know you and greeted you by name each time they saw you. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they gave us some great help and advice during our stay of places to go and how to get there.
