Grand Hotel Parker's in Naples, Italy

The stunning façade of the Grand Hotel Parker's looks exactly as it might have 100 years ago, when it was first purchased by George Parker Bidder: elegant and stately alongside a busy Neapolitan street. Inside, Italy's past is proudly displayed in a private collection of artful masterpieces that embrace the history, culture, and tradition of Naples. Sophisticated, stylish décor fills the parquet-floored lobby and continues into the spacious rooms, palatial suites, and elegantly appointed common areas. Dark, bold furniture stands in calming contrast to the soft, neutral tones of the walls and linens, creating a romantic harmony in each living space. Rooms include air conditioning, heating, a safe, minibar, television, and curtains designed by local artisans that adorn windows framing dramatic views of the city or the sea.

Taste the best Naples has to offer without ever leaving the hotel. The delectable menu at George's will leave you saying "delicioso," while the city's first champagneria, Champagnery finds its home at Grand Hotel Parker's and delights taste buds with vibrant champagnes and brilliant appetizers. Bidder's Bar & Cigar Room on the 6th floor of the hotel boasts panoramic views of the city, and an established, yet relaxed vibe. Wellness Center Day Light, the hotel's spa and fitness center, re-opening on October 30, 2012, offers a comprehensive catalogue of spa services and the latest gym equipment to help guests revive their physical bodies and rejuvenate weary minds. Naples, home to the American Cup World Series event in 2012, and again in 2013 has its own exciting array of events and attractions, including the Royal Palace, San Severo's Chapel, and the National Archaeological Museum, all just minutes from the hotel. Grand Hotel Parker's includes everything that comes to mind when visualizing a European getaway: romance, fine wine, art, and incomparable luxury.

Just returned here after a 4 day break. Don’t normally leave reviews but felt I should after our stay here. By far one of the best hotels we have stayed in, cannot fault the staff or excellent service received. Room was clean and today and had a lovely view over Naples. Was a little out of the way of things. But we actually preferred this, less noise and dirt! 10 min walk to metro or taxi €13 to old Naples. In all just a fantastic place to stay and if we return to Naples it will be to Hotel Parker’s

I simply can't recommend Grand Hotel Parker's enough. My girlfriend and I came to Naples for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We arrived at the hotel on Sunday morning to a lovely greeting from the doorman and Marco and Daniele on the front desk. We then gave the bold last minute request of acquiring tickets to see Napoli play that same day (the match was quite literally under 2 hours away). Within 30 minutes Marco had acquired our tickets and we were on our way. Thank you so much for this! It was such an incredible experience that wouldn't have been made possible without you. The rooms had been newly renovated and they exceeded every expectation we had when booking, far beyond the pictures currently provided on TripAdvisor. I can't emphasise how much the staff made our stay. They are friendly, approachable and entirely professional; especially those on the front desk and the doormen outside. Thank you so much for making our trip so special!

My husband and I spent 8 days in this magnificent hotel in March 2018. It was a real joy. The hotel is full of old worldly charm - high ceilings, bright and cheery with wonderful views over the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The breakfasts were amazing - more than enough to see you through the day until you wandered through the streets of Naples for dinner at night. Unless of course you were too tired exploring and just wanted to enjoy the pleasures of the hotel's new and excellent menu. The staff were extraordinary. They were always around. Reception was always attended by at least 2 members of staff so they were always available for any matters you might want to discuss with them. Each one took the trouble to get to know you and greeted you by name each time they saw you. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they gave us some great help and advice during our stay of places to go and how to get there.

We are really happy with our stay at Grand Hotel Parker’s. We chose Naples to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary and we were not wrong to choose this hôtel. From impecable areas, to súper well done room cleaning (the housekeeping ladies are so nice they even arrange your clothes and shoes) to very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Francesco, Inma, Tiziana, Marco, Daniele, Vincenzo and Salvatore in the reception and Francesco, Massimo and Giovanni the bell men team, the housekeeping ladies we crossed in our floor as well as the room service man who brought ice daily, they all had a great smile each and every time they saw us. The front of the house team recommend and give very good directions with much pleasure and tenacity. Most importantly: they communicate very well between departments. I needed ice often due to a health condition ( the air conditioning is not Instituted until higher temperatures) and they would already arrange to bring a daily and nightly bag of ice without missing once. Also, I cannot miss to thank publicly their kindness for arranging cake, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries the night of birthday. We hadn’t stopped sightseeing which left no opportunity for us to get a cake and a candle hence upon our way back to the hotel, I had this strange feeling that something was just missing, only until I opened our room’s door and got even emotional by seeing the cake and such delicacies from the Team. The rose petal set up was also such a detail. Thank you thank you, thank you! At breakfast time, the staff was always attentive and available. Everytime something was missing from the buffet they would quickly replace. Congratulation to the breakfast team! And congratulations to the Hotel manager who clearly motivates and directs his employees hence the communication, warmth and experience of the staff shines brightly. Valeria & Cyrille

Grand Hotel Parker’s was being refurbished during our stay, which meant the spa and upstairs restaurant / bar was closed. We were not informed of this fact prior to our stay. In addition there was noise from 8am each morning due to the works, which disrupted our stay. The room itself had recently been done up but there were a few small improvements that could have been made, including racks for hanging towels and the fact the lock on the door didn’t work properly when we first got there. This was fixed promptly by the staff. Overall the staff were mixed with Marco being a highlight, but others seemed unsure and awkward. Furthermore there was a lack of soft furnishings on our floor and the doors buzzed loudly every time someone entered and exited which caused unexpected noise through the night. Breakfast was ok, the range was average but everything was cooked well. The setting and the building itself were beautiful. As I said at the top, a great hotel but unfortunately a flawed stay for us.
