When we first arrived to Grand Hotel Parker, I will say I was impressed with the beauty of the hotel itself. Everyone at the front desk was very quick and well organized, but almost to a fault. We felt so rushed and hurried. We were 6 people with 3 rooms and it almost like they were having a race to see who could check us in first. It was overwhelming having about 8 people across the desk asking us questions all at the same time throwing cookies and water at us. Then we were taking on a quick tour of the lobby and restaurant while they brought our bags up which was nice. When go to the room again we felt bombarded. We have a concierge giving us a room tour while 2 other men brought out bags in. It was just a lot at once. After being there an hour we were getting ready to go out to dinner and the water just abruptly stops working, after we call the desk we all get letters under our doors that it will back out for several hours. Once we did get water back later that night we had to run it for about 15 minutes so get all the "brown" dirty water out of the pipes. When we finally were able to shower the next day our shower (which was built with half a door, very common design in hotels) flooded our bathroom floor. no matter what we did...we had to use every towel in the room just to try and quell the situation because the tub was high it was a bit scary trying to climb out into a pool of water. The rooms themselves were beautiful, but out dated. You can tell they tried to make some fancy updates like with computerized lights and key fobs on the doors. However really the room just needed a coat of paint and less furniture. They have packed in so much into a tiny space it leaves you little room to walk and move. I understand that this is a historic hotel and they are trying to keep as much of the "old world" feeling as they can thou. Finally the location is not ideal. It is far and up a hill from the populated or tourist areas in which you will find yourself when in Naples. Cabs were not cheap to or from the hotel, about 20 euro each way for a 3-5 minutes ride to get us to and from dinner each night, We walked to the waterfront once for dinner but it really wasn't a "pleasant stroll". Overall I'd say this is a nice hotel, but not without flaws. Everyone told us we were staying at "the nicest hotel in Naples" if that's true I can't imagine what the others are like.

Said to be one of the oldest hotels in Naples, it certainly lives up to its name. We were made to feel so welcome by the staff and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was elegant and the rooms well furnished. Our sea view room had spectacular views over the bay and to Vesuvius. Our only complaint was the room was a little too warm for sleeping despite being adjusted by a staff member!

My husband booked the hotel as a surprise for our wedding anniversary. We stayed for 3 nights. All the staff were friendly and professional. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped into the hotel. Our room was beautiful. Comfortable bed. The TV was very impressive. Our balcony over looked the bay which was stunning. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as we wanted to get out and see the sights. But hopefully will visit again and try the rooftop. Our gift from hotel for our anniversary was much appreciated ( strawberries dipped in chocolate and prosecco) a lovely surprise. This is now one of our favorite hotels. Thank you for a lovely few days. Mr and mrs Mackie.

We spent 4 nights here in February. The reception staff welcomed us by name and everything that followed was first class. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts were really good with very attentive staff. Recommended.

The hotel is quite hold, mostly made out of wood. Nice vintage deco with big room and large comfy bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The toilet aren’t accessible without taking the lift, problematic for claustrophobic costumers.
