This hotel looks great on the outside and it is right across the street from Vanderbilt. But upstairs, the rooms are tired and very dark. The fixtures look old. The staff means well but they kept slipping up on things they promised to do. We asked for a room facing West End Avenue and they gave us a room facing the back -- the parking lot. They agreed to move us but never bothered to call to say the room was ready. Go somewhere else. By the way, they jack up their rates for all Vanderbilt events.

Great hotel! Great staff! We upgraded to the Club Floor the week before we were to check in. (Slight discount) My niece needed a room at the last minute, and they graciously made room for her. We enjoyed the snacks and beverages served, and when everyone else had left the beautiful room, we could stay and enjoy the football game that was on tv. Breakfast was included, and it was delicious. It was also served In The Club Room. Our hostess was delightful. I think it was Caitlin..... they will also shuttle you for free up to 3 miles. Check out the senior discount.

I had booked this reservation back in March. When I checked in I was told my reservation was cancelled "by mistake". The manager barely apologized after having me wait almost an hour to get a room. That room was not what I originally booked. It was overlooking the parking lot with lots of noise and 2 beds instead of the king requested. After I complained they relocated me on the 8th floor same view I paid 500$ per night for an AVERAGE room plus 30$ for parking. Outrageous and not even an apology!

This hotel beautiful and sooooo comfortable. We came in a time of crisis and the staff was very accommodating. I got a complimentary upgraded room with a nice view of downtown. There was however a lot dogs at the hotel, mostly on every floor. I really didn't get a chance to really enjoy or explore the amenities the hotel had to offer due to work, so hopefully I do get a chance to return and enjoy what the hotel has to offer. The bar food was awesome. The only issue I had was that the hotel offered "One" shuttle which was a big inconvenience but when we did finally get a hold of one ("Tony") was so nice and pleasant.) we pretty much used Uber and Lyft to get around.

The level of service at this Nashville property is over the top! I felt like a valued friend from the time I pulled up in my car. The people at the front desk were kind and gave me a beautiful room, the food in Mason's restaurant was wonderful (best burger in Nashville...you've gotta try it!), and lots of outlets for devices. The best overall was their lead concierge, Shannon and another concierge Graham. I took a bit to find their desk as it is off to the side with no way to distinguish it from a a meeting planner. They have a sweet but not very knowledgeable doorman who gave us uninspired restaurant suggestions and out of the way directions. I thought that was their concierge and would have to take off a star for that. The man was nice, offering water and a smile, but please ask for their true concierge team as they are STARS! Great restaurant recommendations, directions, and tickets WOW! Looking forward to visiting again as I have too many great suggestions to have fit in with just three days!
