Loews Vanderbilt Hotel

We had a good stay at the Loewes in Feb 2025. Yes the hotel is a bit tired and not as updated as some of the newer properties nearby, but it had personality and was so close to everything so on balance it was ok. We rebooked for Nov 2025 for an event in town and arrived at 3pm. Room was ready and went up and immediately couldn’t even hear ourselves talk from the bathroom to the bedroom because of the drilling. It was so loud it felt like the drill was coming through the ceiling. We had to be in the room for work calls and prep for the event so it was not feasible for us to stay there. We called down and asked to be moved and they said that the noise could be heard all the way through the hotel so Moving wouldn’t help. We then asked for the hours of construction just to see if it wouldn’t last long. They said 8:30-6pm each day including Saturday!! We promptly went back to the lobby and asked for a full refund and found another hotel nearby (which we loved - the Conrad). To their credit the Loewes gave us a full refund which we appreciated. They did not apologize for the situation but did handle the refund without issue. Our feedback to management is to please communicate this to your guests before they book!

Although I had to cancel my stay at the last minute due to airport issues as a result of the gov’t shutdown, I would like to acknowledge John Dudek, Director of Front Office. I had an issue with my cancellation which I was unable to resolve. John resolved my issue quickly, efficiently, professionally and with understanding. He is a wonderful ambassador for the Loews brand. A beautiful hotel whose executives do the right thing, how refreshing. Thank you, John.

Van was the sweetest man I have ever met! If you go here please make sure you have a chat with him, he was so kind and friendly with excellent service. Thank you Van for all that you do!

I enjoyed a lovely one night stay for business. The staff was nice enough to upgrade me so I was able to enjoy the Concierge Lounge. I plan to stay again on my next trip to Nashville. Well done!

Our first time at this hotel, great experience so far from checking in with Joy, she was welcoming and accommodating with our request. I believe first impressions are important!
