Our experience, and the following review, are based on our forty six (46) consecutive days in February/March, this year, in amazing beach front villa 514, at this Resort, whose staff at all levels, from their concierge all the way to the Resort Manager, Khun Kritchawat, provided unsurpassed service and care to us, and all those whom we talked with about their experience during our stay. By the way, this was our second trip from Canada to this lovely Resort in last 12 months. This Resort is very popular with visitors from “non-English” speaking countries, compared to nearby Khao Lak Resorts where visitors from European countries dominate. Very friendly staff at the Reception is fluent in Thai, English and Russian languages, always ready to communicate and to provide best possible service and its outcome whenever needs for help arise. Equally responsive to the needs of guests is the staff responsible for daily accommodation on the beach, swimming pool, entertainment, water sports and daily room services. We will not elaborate in this review about beautiful beach which this Resort is very proud of, nor about half a dozen types of accommodations which this Resort offers, from economy up to superior, exclusive levels. Our pictures below are “1000 words” proofs about the Resort’s attractiveness. One and only area for a significant improvement in this Resort is relevant to the food they serve in both their Restaurants. Selection of dishes listed in their menus is very limited, the portions served are hardly “junior” size, and they are at relatively high prices. All in all, Natai Beach Resort and Spa, is our most favorite destination in Thailand because of their staff’s highest and consistent standards for treatment and care of guests regardless which part of the World they are from. Their beach is wonderful, amazing, their location is conveniently close to the airport, and above all, crystal clear sea water’s average temperature is around 28 deg. Celsius during dry season, and it is always is swimmable. We believe that some “in depth”, harsh and negative comments below, from guests who stayed only “few (two) days” in this Resort are not entirely fair, and do not reflect opinions of 350 to 400 guests who are every day in this Resort, really enjoy every minute in it.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding in Feb 2018, and was very pleased with the hotel. We stayed in a room with it's own swimming pool outside - the rooms were spacious and very clean. We did not use the private pool much though as the main pool in the hotel is spectacular. The hotel is on a quiet yet picturesque beach - we spent a few hours walking up and down and enjoyed a massage on there too. The hotel restaurant is a bit disappointing, the Thai food wasn't great and the building in which it was in was a bit rundown. If staying in Natai, this is a great option.

A group of us stayed here for 2 nights and it surely more than enough. For the price you pay in Thailand, definitely not worth the money. 3 star resort at max. No one was able to comment positively about the resort. - Room: We stayed at one of the villa rooms which was a little old (though acceptable). But there was no hot water at times. - Food at the restaurant was extemely substandard. Never thought a mango smoothie or a milk tea could go wrong in Thailand, but it did. Breakfast was also poor, sausages taste like plastic. Service was inexistent. - Natai is poorly managed and in my opinion could do alot better. Management really needs to think about what they're trying to do with this place. I would not recommend this, unless you have no other choice. Or unless management substantially turns things around.

The staff at the front desk and concierge was not very welcoming, and didn’t give very helpful advice. They appeared rude and don’t understand our questions very well. We care with a big group of friends and that’s the general feedback from the crowd. Also transportation arranged by the hotel was unreasonably expensive. We ended up going to another hotel nearby and arrange full day transportation through that hotel.

Positive things: Friendly and helpful staff, Very clean room. Good location, straight on the empty beach. Bad things to say: The rooms are old and shabby, smells very much mould. At first we booked fisherman house which was nice, but the sofa looked so dirty that i didnt want to put even my bag there. The doors were broken and didnt locked properly that we got to change the room. The staff was nice and helpful and they solved the problem well. But the old air conditioners were noisy both room, so you can only dream about the peaceful sleep in this hotel. Breakfast was not 5 stars. Vegetarians had nothing to eat, only tomato and cucumber (we are not rabbits). All food was with meat, egg or cheese. No tofu or anything else plantbased. Are we living in 21. century or not? Only fresh juice machine was a great supprise. And lots of russian turists who all stealed the food from morning buffee with big bags. It cant be more than 3 star hotel (with 5 star prices).
